AAAAAA Don't you have a job you and your $hit comments
Are you a troll? Stop de-ramping these shares. SP will recover over 18 month. If you are a serial shorter go and bark elsewhere. Now time to top-up
MT Newswires) -- Jefferies on Monday downgraded Frontier Developments (FDEV.L) to hold from buy and trimmed its price target to 1.70 pounds sterling from 5.20 pounds.
A buyer wouldn't want the company for its staff. The open market has cheap game devs galore now there's a wave of layoffs across the entire games industry. And clearly the brand has no value. So that leaves just the back catalog, minus the games that are owned by the franchisers and developers rather than Frontier. Against that, the buyer would be taking Frontier's very considerable financial liabilities. So all in all the share price would have to go a lot lower to reach a value a buyer woukd find attractive.
Surely someone’s going to make an approach at these levels. Plenty of savings to be made after that.
He has to go, and go soon.
The analysts covering Frontier Developments plc (LON:FDEV) delivered a dose of negativity to shareholders today, by making a substantial revision to their statutory forecasts for this year. Both revenue and earnings per share (EPS) forecasts went under the knife, suggesting analysts have soured majorly on the business.
Following the latest downgrade, the current consensus, from the twelve analysts covering Frontier Developments, is for revenues of UK£90m in 2024, which would reflect an uncomfortable 14% reduction in Frontier Developments' sales over the past 12 months.

Withdraws target price 610p and provides no replacement.
Liberum note 27 Nov. "Putting forecasts, TP and rating under review".
No prizes for predicting what comes next, considering Liberum has already departed its position as FD's NOMAD.
MM's game will be next and on for longer.
Seem to remember many moons ago that they registered TM's around Planet Prison, City, Hospital. I guess those are possible but not very original?
Sold out here for a small loss following YH's update on the falling review ratings for Realms, so thanks Yank for that. But tentatively bought back in yesterday. It would be a cheap "acqui-hire" for a US business and i wonder if DB might be willing to sell now?
UK small caps are really beaten down so feel like there should be upside in the next couple of years. It's uncomfortable buying this, but sometimes those investments can turn out very well.

"we see the company's value now supported more by the potential value of it assets than its medium-term outlook".
Revenue growth forecasts for next two years downgraded by 26% and 31%.
Don't hold back, YH. Tell us how you really feel 😂
Steam score is in fact 66% - which means extremely poor.
This does not in general mean zero sales, but add the bad press reviews, 69% on metacritic, the insanely niche-of-niche niche genre, and the toxic Frontier brand, and near zero sales is the result. Steam global sales chart has the game at #4876.
I have never ever heard of a £20m game previously die so quickly and completely.
What is tragic is this fail was totally obvious from the negative audience reaction to the game demo/preview. Yet the CEO announced how pleased he was with the positive reaction and released it anyway.
£20m and a hefty chunk of brand value and credibility, up in smoke in one week.
Analysts at Berenberg lowered their target price on video games developer Frontier Developments from 210.0p to 170.0p on Tuesday on the back of news that sales of its Realms of Ruin title had been "underwhelming and materially lower" than many of its other franchises.

It had a go, but it looks like it is running out of puff.
It may even go lower before the bell.
Anyone value destroy like this would be out !!
Steam Autumn Sale is on right now …
How much are they charging for their warhammer effort?
£50, £60 and £65. It’s not actually in the sale event at all …
It’s poorly rated on Steam - ‘mixed’ rating means it’s marmite with limited length of enjoyment. £50 minimum for a failing game?!
They have missed this sale event completely. Next one will be the biggest sale of the year, Winter Holiday Sale. If they try to sell the game for anything over £25 they will struggle again.
The chairman leaving isn’t going to solve these wide-ranging problems …
Someone needs to step up and tell PI’s how they’re going to stop haemorrhaging share value.
Highly doubt they are F1M games, I would expect an announcement soon to say they are dropping F1M24 but continuing support on existing releases (F1M 23).
Can see this being a roller coaster until announcement of new game next FY.
I expect Jonny to be in the office 6 days a week getting this sorry ship back on track and kicking a lot of asses to make a good game that gets good reviews and actually makes some money.
I can’t see myself ever getting back in here - I was tempted at £2, and now look what they did to the price.
It’s like playing Russian roulet.
They’ve been treating the company finances like it’s one of their CMS games, with no consequences. Like they finish playing it, say “oh well never mind”, and then just press New Game.
I lost a fortune on this share and I suspect other PI’s still are.
The 25/26/27 CMS releases … are they F1 Manager games?! It’s really unclear if it is or if it’s something no new, or rehashes of old IP.
Beginning to look interesting.
Nothing like a hostile takeover couldn't solve
What happened is horrendous failure of what FDEV promoted as "our biggest game ever". Lanched last week. Presently at 931 in the Steam global sales chart, and dropping.
A good recovery started last month but now we are back below 200p. What happened?
Taken it off games console? It's designed for console, that's one of the main problems for PC users, it's fruitless and the UI is horrendous.
Imo, they chose the wrong games engine for this title, potential for improvement & added content is seriously restricted. FD would need to spend a similar budget as F1M22 to bring in the required fixes, the game needs redesigning from scratch but we already know that's not going to happen.
CEO needs removing from position.
