If the sp is going to fall or rise over the near or medium term is a complete unknown. As I see it it's completely bombed out now. But have fun gambling.
Avocet - good point, there pointless posts which do absolutely nothing to the sp. These people probably trying to day trade and making massive losses because they haven't got a Scooby. Never post much but these guys are boring now
To think that's all they do all day long knowing that it is absolutely fruitless at the end of the day. Just sad. Feel very sorry for them.
One UK airline just announced ...More flights canceled as 2.8 million seats cut over summer..... whats that around 340M lost so far!
The derampers on here.... Makes me laugh. Have rarely seen such desperation.
They must really think their endless post of clickbait links have some sort of effect on the sp of a billion pound company.
Beggars believe.
aspers good insight, but I think your wrong on the SP only way is up .....https://www.msn.com/en-gb/health/medical/timelapse-maps-show-most-contagious-covid-yet-has-become-dominant/ar-AAZg4hE?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=89c61eb0d90a4983a8f77469fc0d1085
@aspers
Thanks for this info.
For anyone elseā¦.aspers been around a long time and heās a realist not a ramper:)
I bought yesterday and fully expect to double my money, when you see a lot of negative nonsense about a good company in the news bandwagon it is time to buy value.
I use easy regularly and plane is always full, the summer travel is not the only game here as easy has all year round business.
I am ex EasyJ crew but now gone corporate. Still in touch with some of my ex crew and the feedback is that load factors are great and rosters are now back to pre covid ops.
Fuel not a big issue as good hedging done but any real increase will probably like most other operators be eventually covered by a levy.
Anyone that topped up below Ā£3.50 will double their money within the next 12 months I reckon.
Good luck to one and all but this is only going one way now.
Theyāve also got a fair amount hedged for 2023 as well - as most airlines do. Plus USD hedges as well. Figures are all in their financial reports. Sometimes those hedges work in their favour, other times they cost these companies money, but over the long term it all tends to smooth out and avoids any nasty sudden shocks due to the underlying volatility, especially for fuel prices.
Bankrupt! - don't think so matey .... lol
"the company currently holds cash of Ā£3.2bn, which comfortably covers debt of Ā£2.6bn"
"Alongside this, rising fuel costs are not as damaging as might have been expected. The company moved early to hedge against the cost of fuel. This means easyJet has fuel contracts at a fixed price, for now, to offset volatile price fluctuations. For the yearās second half, 71% of the airlineās fuel will cost $619 per metric tonne. This is considerably lower than the current un-hedged price of $1,225 per metric tonne. Competitors such as Wizz Air were slower to hedge against fuel costs and are paying a much higher amount."
Hahahah
Company going bankrupt 65% chance sell now or lose everything put your funds into RR
