Robinhoody, you can't even spell ISRAEL, what an ignoramus clown!
Likewise, looking to buy more at 505 and 500
I'm still waiting patiently as to when to top up.. I guess we just wait to see what Isreal do.. anything is on the tables now.. How low can Easy go? I read they lost 40M due to stopping to flying to Isreal last year for X amount of months so it clearly hits the bottom line a fair bit..
Even when results are announced and if they are fantastic, we are still not going to be anywhere near where we have been in the 540-560 range for weeks. Really wish i hadn't missed the 590 , was sure it was heading for 600 plus, which is fundamentally where it should be. Now looks like we'll struggle to hold above 500.
I noticed a big 6M sell and then quite literally EasyJet took off after hours..

EasyJet has cancelled flights to Israel for almost a week amid fears Tel Aviv is preparing to launch a retaliation strike against Iran.
The airline had already paused flights to Tel Aviv until at least Tuesday but in a new statement said this would now continue until Sunday “due to the evolving situation”.
It comes amid concerns of escalating conflict in the Middle East after Iran launched a drone and missile strike against Israel on Saturday evening.
Anyone know why this is dropping?
Sold half my holding here at 542p last week and bought them back this morning at 530p - I can't see anyone apart from Qube wanting to be short before the update on Thursday and for me the share goes up from here barring anymore macro economic turbulence as funds reposition themselves - lets see
gla dyor etc
Pretty sure neither Blinken nor Cameron agree with you @RobinHoody
For my part I think it’ll be sad if Cameron can’t openly take his family on an EZJ flight to Malaga or Ibiza at half term for security reasons. The money’s all been made if you were in RR or Rheinmetall. This needs to be over. Just mho
Let's be honest.. UK and USA want an outbreak in the middle east .. War = BIG MONEY
If they do anything it's unlikely to be in the next few weeks.
Too much volatility to say, I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up in the red today. I'm waiting to see what Israel does before a top up
Get the impression this was mostly priced in
There has been a nice bounce in the share price this morning of 2%, so hopefully this will continue and recoup some of the drop from Friday's trading.
Let's get the conversation back to EZJ which- in the face of events in the middle east is already up 2-3% for the day when people thought the airlines would be giving up another 5-10%!!! Seems the retaliation may have been largely priced in and Friday was indeed the prime topping up opportunity myself and others highlighted
Moving the topic back to easyJet - positive news today with the oil markets. Hope to see last week's drop corrected this week.
Unfortunately it's not ignorance I have spent a good amount of the last 10 years in Israel. There is definitely segregation and discrimination. I have seen it and experienced it. I am a US citizen and I have friends from both sides and I don't support either government.
In the last 2 years I have seen Israel change. Freedom for everyone has been restricted but particularly for certain people
You may not feel comfortable with it, I am not but it's my experience. If yours is different that's fine.
I
Xhita you seem new here. You also seem profoundly ignorant, laid bare by your final statement, falsely implying apartheid. At the same time you claim not to be taking sides, laying bare your dishonesty.
Let's keep it to the intended purpose of EZJ share chat. All other political opinions whether ignorant or otherwise can be expressed elsewhere.
Stille, Most of the crew members are Indian nationals so I doubt Iran wants to upset India who are a lot
bigger than Iran !!
Personally, I wouldn't believe a word any of these part human species say as they seem to live in some sort of alternative reality with Allah or Jehovah or ????
Now we see if Iran will release the 25 entirely innocent crew members….and maybe offload the containers onto other ships. It would be a massive signal they mean what they say “the matter is concluded” and would give them the moral high ground. GLA
Xhita. no it's not just your view. Many think the same.
Imagine if you will. A situation from the UK near past.
The IRA perpetrate yet another atrocity killing innocent people. The British government start aerial bombing catholic areas of Belfast hoping to kill a few IRA terrorists. Imagine the mentality. Bombing a hospital or a school because they think that a terrorist may be inside.
Yes Hamas aren't the IRA but it's not an unrealistic parallel given the passage of time.
Add to that the protestant population of Belfast weren't illegally occupying White Rock or Falls Park trying to force the Catholic families out.
Queuing in the supermarkets the protestants didn't go to the front of the queue leaving the Catholics to wait in line.
I am not with one side or another just saying how I see it.
EasyJet has many weekly flights to Israel. Mostly sold out and the average price is over £400 a seat bare fare from the UK. 5 flights a week from Luton mostly sold out. What there is end of April is £500 bare fare.
Berlin 2 flights a week, Basel 1.
The full Israel schedule starts again end of the summer with Manchester and all the other routes pre the recent troubles.
It would be good to see a mature smart Israel but I suspect that we haven't heard the last of this.
It has clearly drawn a line under whether it's acceptable to murder others on foreign soil. There's no winner here and the clear losers are the 36000 dead many of whom were children. 75000 wounded with little chance of medical care.
Whilst the world queues up to condemn Iran maybe someone should think about what Israel has done in Gaza.
Just my view.
