Italy has extended quarantine until 30 August for British arrivals - another blow to British holidaymakers
EU warns against visiting popular Greek tourist islands including Mykonos, Rhodes and Santorini
Eek - definitely a bumpy ride .. be interesting to see what the travel announcement next week reveals .. cant see 1400p .. £11 at a push with only a few weeks remaining of the summer holiday season .. still holding tight ..
Yeah sub 8 likely, hopefully not but it's only 40p away.
A Smithy, granted 1400p is a bit of a stretch, im more focused on reaching the gap just over 1000p in all honesty.
However, IAG have pulled Easy J down today and spanked the living day lights out of the price, temporarily.
It's one crazy roller coaster :-)
A. Smithy
If airlines are in a state of disarray as your opinion and tone to match suggests, the market would have them back at March 2020 lows. Go with the trend, the market is showing you are entirely inaccurate on your view, especially as the dark clouds are slowly clearing.
He doesn't... He's delusional!!!!
Claims to be an aviation expert... Have you ever worked in the industry smithy? You honestly haven't got a clue.
More and more EZY aircraft are being returned to service and scheduled flights are on the rebound! The demand is there, the aircraft are ready... And the flight crews are ready...
"Travel will likely NEVER be the same again, EZY will suffer heavy losses for a number of years. Return to profit is a very very long way off."
How do you know that?
Give it a break you fool (poor fool)... It won't be 520p that's for sure!
Stop crying like a little baby, EZY is recovering, it's a much leaner and meaner operation now.
YOUR SHORT IS DONE FOR!!!!!
Man up!
late 2022 will be up in that price area. Lots of bouncing around for another 18 months
Im holding to 1400p, there's a gap needing filled, infact 2 gaps needing filled .... Double P - it's just like x hamsters. ;-)
typo in previous post ..... should have read ..
* 'amber plus list' may even be scrapped by next week .. lets see ...
Malpasso - the concern is the Beta variant as the vaccine is claimed to be less effective.
France could be coming off the amber list and the very latest is that the 'amber list' may even be scrapped by next week .. lets see ...
Hope 123, Spain has now more double jabbed people as a percentage of population than the UK, moving it to Amber + would not make any sense, mind you with this bunch at the head, who knows?
As mentioned many times before, ezy is not just UK, half is operated in the EU, hence the "stubborn " often called too high SP. The UK is behind the curve by about 6 weeks and finally catching up with the rest of EU. Boris is about to move a lot of countries in the green, again way behind considering vaccination in EU fast catching up and infection rates a fraction of ours. We cannot play politics forever, time for business.
I cant see Spain nor Greece going onto the 'amber plus' (yet!) and believe this to be media hype.
No hints were dropped by Shapps in his announcement yesterday - just my thoughts - probably wrong lol
Alas Smith. I seem to find that once the Dow opens at 2-30 this alter oil stock as they are priced in dollars so I think that Ezj will be back in the blue by the close..
Smithy. But with this country opening up to people who have been double jaded you would think the sector would rise after all easy fly people in from all over Europe as well as out of the UK
riolto10, I have generally found that the first and last half hours trading a period with very unstable prices - the opening is a bit like market sellers laying out their tables of vegetables and pricing them by waving a finger in the air. The market settles into a rhythym eventually so that market makers price shares to encourage bargains to be made and there is turnover. The last half hour is spent balancing the books so that a fresh start can be made on the next working day.
Yes understand that but generally it also pulls other shares up and what is your opinion on EZJs drop when they opened up over nine pounds and soon dropped back to show a drop of 22p om the opening
The rise in the FTSE is most likely the result of advance in the SP of Shell A and Shell B shares plus Rio Tinto. As they are major constituents, rises of almost 5% and 3% respectively lift the index
We should be discussing the drop in airline shares today amid the rise in the FT 100 by 60 points not having the same old discussion day after day. Nothing to add then just pass until you have..
