For a third time in a row my purchases have been wrongly reported. Bought 250000 this morning and is shown as a sell.
Sorry. Came across this thread whilst looking into the 02 deal with Melody... Credit to ParisLSE who was estimating revenue from the 02 deal. Also note the RNS statement of intent in expanding the telco deal... MVR have been very active in the US...
PARISLSE Post (thanks Paris):
o2's q3 numbers are out....
https://news.o2.co.uk/2019/11/04/the-uks-largest-mobile-network-continues-to-grow/
So it shows they have 26m customers of which 66.9% pay monthly.
I'm trying to guesstimate what the current o2 deal is worth....
66.9% of 26m = 17,394,000
On the rns https://www.investegate.co.uk/evr-holdings-plc--evrh-/rns/melodyvr-launches-exclusive-5g-partnership-with-o2/201910170700051539Q/
It said: "O2 will remunerate MelodyVR for each of their customers that utilise the promotion and will guarantee a minimum number of subscribers during the course of the first 12 months."
Not sure what o2 guaranteed but let's say a conservative 1% of monthly customers.
They will be paying £7 extra for their contract
Let's say £3.50 goes to Melody.
1% of 17,394,000 = 173,940
173,940 x 3.5 = £608,690 per month x12 = £7.3m
If £5 goes to melody = 869,700 x 12 = £10.4m
And this is just from the UK. The rns also said: "we look forward to welcoming more users in the UK to our platform, and to completing further international telco partnerships that will both drive user and revenue growth in the near future. "
Telefonica are in Germany, Spain and Brazil - in Brazil they have 90m customers. This deal is huge and will get a lot bigger as they add more countries.
"and to completing further international telco partnerships that will both drive user and revenue growth in the near future. " Near being the key word, doesn't sound slow to me. Which Telco partnership will come next adding another circa £10m rev?
Just a reminder for new investors. John Gore, invested and valued this company at 15p a share (as per the RNS extract at bottom of post), earlier this year. This is what a successful billionaire currently values the company at. To add, he's reported to be the Conservatives greatest donor in the past so clearly 'shrewd' when it comes to finances.
There's been a lot of talk concerning when Melody will get involved in theatre and it's certainly a case of when, not 'if'. John Gore, Billionaire has a huge stake in this company (6.98%) and it's very fair to assume he will utilise his position to mobilise VR in his theatres.

As we know, theatres, cinemas are all going to largely affected for the foreseeable future as such, John Gore no doubt will revolutionise theatre viewings. Without any doubt, theatre 'go-ers' are generally of a more 'mature' age demographic and therefore will be more hesitant to attend such venues during the COVID pandemic.
https://www.cnbc.com/2020/05/25/what-will-movie-theaters-look-like-after-coronavirus-shutdowns.html
The data found that the largest age group for theatre audiences was people between the ages of 65 and 74, with the average age of an audience member being 52 (as per https://www.thestage.co.uk/news/audience-agency-data-shows-ageing-demographic-of-theatregoers).
RNS STATEMENT
EVR Holdings plc (AIM:EVRH), the leading creator of virtual reality entertainment content and operator of the MelodyVR platform, is pleased to announce that the John Gore Bahamas Ltd ("JGB") has partially exercised its option to subscribe for 4,997,041 new ordinary shares at a price of 15.3p per share ("Subscription Shares"), representing a significant premium to the Company's current mid-market share price, which values the Company's issued equity share capital at approximately £220 million.
we've moved to the MVR chat now.
Some are determined to top up and some equally determine to sell up at 4.8p.An interesting battle today.

Could you imagine lol " resources to capitalize on current innovations"
“This added liquidity will help bolster our already strong balance sheet, providing us with extra cushion to withstand any scenario well into 2021, as well as ample resources to capitalize on current innovations and ramp business up quickly when the time is right,” said Michael Rapino, President and Chief Executive Officer of Live Nation Entertainment.

Hadn’t really considered them before but they are perfect to buy out MelodyVR. Huge company that would seamlessly be able to offer VR concerts to their already massive user base. They would finally be able to generate some value out of the tech and agreements melody have created. Used to want Melody to go it alone but have less and less faith in them being able to do it so am hoping for a buyout within a year.
could be to do with ticker change.have you tried MVR?
on barclays why would this be?
