Enjoy!
During a CNN Interview earlier today, Joe Berchtold (President of Livenation):
“We think there could be some interesting business opportunity’s to come out of it, we’re seeing greater and greater interest in the notion of a virtual concert”......
Livenation: $11 Billion Revenue....
Today’s RNS: MelodyVR partners with Live Nation for 'Wireless Connect'
Has Revenue written all over it for EVRH / MVR....
Live nation , future owner or competitor .
I hope it’s the former.
all of the questions / equations dont change the simple facts
UK / USA set up a place to play ---- how many other countries to follow ---------------
Ok we think the share is being manipulated---- not for long ----------------
No mass knows about Melody --------------------- thats changing --------------------
Corona virus or cold play explaining carbon foot print ---------------------
Quality production or drive a skoda --------------------------------
The amount of share sales and interest is through the roof ----------------
Look at the amount of people on this site ------------------------
Gore will kick in ---------------------
i dont understand the negatives the some push here but above makes this share massive IMO.
Very good news. The 'Life from...' concerts are great, but having an official festival with a brand name on its own is helpful.
Live Nation
53923 followers on FB now. Up around 20,000 in the last 12 days. That will look like nothing once alive Nation start telling their 3,600,000 followers to promote Wireless
Ignore the clueless and the trolls. Rockets are warming up!!
Not sure if some of you know how big it is. Suggest you check out the kind of acts that generally perform
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wireless_Festival
Also, re the NME article they have 905,500 Twitter and 888,000 FB followers and 332,000 Instagram
followers
Live Nation have 538,600 followers 3,600,000 FB followers and 434,000 Instagram followers
Social Media numbers are going to rocket exponentially
why would MVR not make money from Wireless connect ?
I agree Mel. What I expect to see is a significant increase in OPEX and CAPEX as the result of the second successive year of strategic investment into people, property and technology. IMO this is a necessary growth driver and for me, shouldn't cause too much alarm if things appear worse on face value when the results are released. The interesting things will be to see a) by what magnitude they have managed to grow app revenue and b) what other revenue opportunities they have managed to explore given the heavy dependency on the Facebook payload in the last results.
Clearly, brand awareness and user adoption is key right now but I'm curious, what would you/everyone else consider to be a successful YoY revenue target in advance of the results being released?
An £800m valuation would be about right based on current sp/market cap; perhaps that’s why the sp is being kept around 5p
Exactly Reynard. And a user base that pays. They won't be able to make all their money through advertising. And I'm sure that was never their intention.
MelodyVR are building a Brand awareness, the maturity of the ‘ MelodyVR Team’ is fantastic, the product is coming into its own, with all three venues open artists I believe will be forming an orderly queue to carry performances, quality always succeeds.
Regarding the Accounts and the SP, I expect the account to demonstrate a clear strategy and strict control of costs, providing confidence to the investors. I see the SP rising into double figures but only rising substantially after the summer after a successful series of individual performances and a series of virtual festivals. Once we have substantial traffic of visitors to the APP then I see the SP rising to a decent level. 2021 I believe will be the year of the MelodyVR SP rise! IMO
Which is exactly my point, you grow the base and generate revenues from that base. Giving stuff aware rapidly spreads awareness. The iOS app now 23 in music from over 200 just days ago
Wireless, LA gigs and others yet to be announced will generate a platform to monetise. Don’t forget anyone who goes for a 2.nd look at something they initially get free will have to pay for it. Here’s a quote from http://grmdaily.com/wireless-connect-wireless-connect-festival that even includes a quote from COdeys hero Melvin Benn...
The full line-up is yet to be announced but Drake, Stormzy, Migos, and Travis Scott are among artists who have performed at the festival in the past so we can expect some of the hottest musicians on the scene to be making an appearance at the virtual festival.
Melvin Benn, managing director of Festival Republic, said: "There's no more forward-thinking festival than Wireless, and there's no more forward-thinking way of hosting a festival than in 360 VR.
"We'll be filming artists in MelodyVR’s amazing studio space in LA, built just for this purpose and in the historic theatre at Ally Pally, which MelodyVR will turn into Wireless Connect. No one has done this before..."
Spotify, Instagram and TikTok all generate hugely significant revenues.
It remains to be seen what MVR will pull in terms of sponsorship/advertising but, until they have anywhere near a significant user base, brands won't be inclined to dig deep.
Not to mention TikTok and Facebook
You guys are absolutely 100% clueless
WhatsApp - it’s free to use
Instagram - it’s free to use
Spotify -it’s free to use
Now look at their valuations.
On a tech company you grow the base and reap the reward through sponsorship, advertising (plus selling tickets to sold out concerts when they come back)
Grow up, research or grow a pair and sell up
as i have said the sp and investors say it all, two years ago this month a high of almost 18p, a year ago this month 8.7p this month today 4.7p. what more is there to say?
Watching, i have been here now almost three years, originally on the promises that Matchet made and his prophecies, i have also stated on this chat site, especially in the early days, what an excellent future this company had however i have become more and more disillusioned with it heading and momentum, the untruths offered and the failure to live up to and keep promises. However i still believe in this company just not in the current bod.
Don't worry, we are due an update from the Q&A, 7 days, or was it 10 days from the AGM, oh right, 10 days is today - so another deadline missed.
The Wireless RNS has left the SP totally unimpressed. It is likely to remain so until Melody start monetising their live gigs. IMO.
True, in the circumstances, it demonstrates much goodwill on Melody's part to show it for free, and it probably serves as a try-out for the new studios. But they will need revenue from live gigs eventually, because we would like a nice big share price eventually.
It doesn't necessarily have to translate into profit. Spotify for example, never made any until 2018. But their substantial revenue would have been ploughed back into growing their business.
Horse I find you very interesting. Are you paid to slang off companies ?
Of by lse. To keep bbs flowing with investors
To keep the advertisers happy !
the sp along with the investors speaks volumes about this share, 3% down yesterday but an immediate recovery of 1% today on good news!
