Buys or sells is really irrelevant IMO.
The SP is going down because there are more shares available for sale than people are seeking to buy and that is why the SP is drifting down even tough we have mostly buys. The seller keeps dropping the ask as the buys at that level dry out. The 2.5 mil sell yesterday might have been a bid to buy 2.5 mil at 3p and the seller saw that and obliged.
As per Eve announcements all is going to plan for sustainable profitability next year and as such there is no good reason for this SP decline. IMO, these shares are coming from a distressed seller(s) that needs cash and is not willing to wait.
sorry, missed the 2.5mil sell yesterday.
Extremely frustrating - yes.
The only thing I can justify as to why this has dropped so low is that perhaps many feel this is a slow burner and that people want to make quicker money.
Cannot really see any other reason.
My conspiracy thoughts though does feel as though somethings going on in the background and it’s being dragged down. Aside the larger sell of yesterday, it’s been predominantly a buying session yesterday and today. (Note... the 3.12 ish trades today are likely sells but not large so hopefully not an impact.)
Still a head scratcher however anyone wants to look at this
massively more buyers than sellers and still the s.p. drops. market forces must surely kick in soon? glta
It would appear that some our fellow ( meaning both male and female) EVE shareholders for whatever decided to sell their stake - at the price stipulated and indeed that is their right.
So presumably there are presently more sellers than buyers for EVE. The actual business appears to be positive in its outlook with expansion of products lines, increasing sales and continuing onwards towards the transformation into an overall Sleep Wellness business as opposed to just amattress retailer
3p bid blown out! Nothing changed and the SP action is not justified - a large distressed seller?
Last TU (16 July):
“ Trading update
13% sales growth in H1, on-course for full year expectations”
On course for full year expectations (and sustainable profitability in 2022). Nothing in the TU was negative.
The cash pile going down? Yes is spend on expansion and Eve has said on numerous times that they have enough cash to get to sustainable profitability. They have to spend money to get there.
Cannot see what the negatives are. Probably the sales are mainly due to a large distressed seller and if so this would be an excellent buy/add opportunity. There cannot be many more shares left at this level, surely after the 2.5 mil sell yesterday, otherwise a TR-1 should be due.
