Lemming, really, good luck. Half of me wishes I was still in, other half glad to be out. Will be reading kier RNS with interest after 7am.
Hi Wyndrum, DG, CI,
I think Kier Pessimism has been over done. Just thinking simplistically, £86m seems a tad low. So much uncertainty that if they can resolve some of that in the morning then it could prompt a relief rally. Or of course, the opposite is true and I will run and swan dive (er Lemming dive) off the cliff with the rest of them.
I'll be a spectator only tomorrow but good luck indeed with Kier! I sold and put it in Eve with intention of selling on the rise before results, but then failed to sell. It'll be fine come January :-)
Thanks D-Geeman. I've also exited Kier at the very last minute. I decided to just take a modest loss than be a potential casualty and risk some of the gains I've made from Eve already. @Wyndrum you've reminded me that I could always buy later when things are looking to turnaround and buy on the upward trend and agree with Geeman that further down the track seems to make sense. I am expecting results to be terrible tomorrow, my case for buying was always thinking that the KIE shares are already priced in at 60p... but after going to 50p, it just reminded me that it cud go much lower.
Good luck with Kier tomorrow. ( I think the last 30 minutes of trading today may well be an indicator) Fingers tightly crossed.
Thanks Wyndrum and Lemming, and Comp Interest,
I also had Kier and, being so focussed elsewhere recently, had not really noticed the slow-but-sure slide in my holding's value. I bought mostly when they were announcing HS2 etc. My Kier was down 50%..
This morning I've just sold Kier and put the proceeds into Eve (Mrs Geeman knows..) but it could be that I sell this portion before long at all and move back to Kier depending on results day at Eve, and results day at Kier. Eve results are first of course which is handy. For me I think the chances of recouping some of the Kier losses (in the next few days) are actually best in Eve.
ErrHum, good to see the latest reviews of the Original Hybrid doing so well. Eve must be going places; Kier will be going places, just a little further down the track.
