A couple of other products that seem to have disappeared from EVE would be the various bedroom furniture they did have such as the bed side table and the blanket box storage box ( not exactly sure of the names EVE used for their bedroom furniture).
Don’t give it just on phone now so won’t check but my recollection is that the hot water bottle is one size, but a choice of covering fabrics. So one fabric is £45 and a softer fabric is £60, so quite a good choice.
I’m not an expert but I think the water bottle is aimed at women with pains, who might be willing to pay a bit extra. I bet they will buy a fluffy kiddie bottle for £8 from Boots for their actual offspring :)
Good job D-G.
Also The new hot water bottle; is the pricing wrong on the EVE website or is there a smaller size due to be stocked too!
It says ‘from £45’ but when clicked on to enquire about purchasing it states £60 and only one size available.
I wonder would selling teddy bear style hot water bottles be good in the child’s section?
Don't give, they might need to update this in the sleepover section on their site:
'Be ready for sleepovers anytime ... or a nifty eye mask you’re looking for, we’ve got you covered.'.
Ironic now that they don't have an eye mask.
(In fact, I just mentioned this to eve, so they don't look silly. And also asked them about Habitat possibly selling the sleep away range. They emailed back automatically to say 4 days etc, but included info on sleep away stuff that could have answered my question. The computer must have sussed I was talking about sleep away and tried to help. I'm slightly impressed.)
I expect they have plenty of ideas but not the cash to develop everything. That's perhaps why licensing deals are attractive atm (cut of profit without development costs).
A couple of years ago, James Sturrock gave an interview (I re-read it this week) where he said they'd like eve to become The White Company of sleep. If you look at their site https://www.thewhitecompany.com/uk/c/home I can see it's slowly happening albeit with a long way to go.
Sales volume seem good. However just today quite a few bad TP reviews popping up. Some customers so frustrated by inability to get any customer service to deal with an initial query are now sending their products back and demanding refunds - This is very disappointing!
Oh regards EVE Sleep Gifts - there has been an eye mask set ( possibly with a scented candle or maybe it was room spray) but it disappeared a few months back.
One would have though an eye mask would make a good sleeping aid.
Wonder will they ever get cosy EVE robes, etc?
And down to 22 gift products. The used to have 23. Something's gone.
