On the grants / loans it's highly debatable whether we'll get a 'slam dunk' here's €Xm for our BFS and CAPEX to production. Perhaps more likely that funding will be more targeted as we have already seen. We know that the Junta want us to restore the quarries so perhaps an environmental grant to assist with that - they get their landscaping / we save on tailings management. Having said that we are living through a unique period so maybe anything is possible, I'd certainly like to see funding cleared up before operational results start filtering through or they will yet again fail to progress the mcap IMO.
Grow up Highside you know very well that when you first started posting you commenced a dialogue of undermining Europa which then not so subtly altered when you put down some hard earned so take it like a man and accept that I will scrutinise what you post. I only pulled you up on 'Duel' because you cast the first stone on pronunciation so don't winge about that either. For the record I find the idea of kicking a cat pretty distasteful but agree that it's one of those expressions that has endured from another era so you might not, I wouldn't consider it reportable. Carry on posting, I actually think you have improved your research since you invested but don't get so prickly if I disagree with you.
Here we go Shedulike while i wait for the canoe sprint in Tokyo , from the urban dictionary TOP DEFINITION kick the cat To release your frustration and powerlessness by snapping at an innocent person or creature who just happens to be handy. Usually following a bad day at work.
then this nonsense "Highside posted a series of inaccuracies about EUZ" "He posts misleading information"...and he is plain wrong....
You see the point is you sit in judgement on everyone and decide yourself what's right and what's wrong regardless. Phrases like…. "if he sticks his head above the parapet i will blow it off" have made it a chore for people to actually post here which is why there is just 3 of you left. I have never seen one person so effectively shut down a thread through sheer bloody mindedness and selfishness like you. You pounce on every single one of my posts to try and gain some sort of moral high ground, even when you know its complete nonsense. Yesterday i told you to "go and kick the cat" and you came straight back with how you love animals and you were now offended? jeeez.. Do you know what my biggest crime was yesterday ? lets make a list, i will start you off 1/ He spelt Dual as Duel. 2/ On second thoughts, don’t bother because i really don’t care what you think, I'm gone :-).
Too the rest of you, this does look to have legs , my own research has lead me to buy on three occasions now., its still a punt as finance and timing are an issue, that makes it less than an investment to me at this stage. Remove the threat of dilution and that could change very quickly. Its a shame there is no open discussion here but at the end of the day thats social media for you, it only takes one to spoil it for the rest. GLA
Thanks grappa I'd missed Highside's last contribution - most entertaining. Look, let's get this clear nobody I believe, least of all myself is trying to hound anyone off the board but prior to putting some cash at risk (don't want to open up the punt/investment thread) Highside posted a series of inaccuracies about EUZ which I challenged. There is nothing wrong with a vigorous debate as long as you can stay within limits. I don't claim to be the greatest authority on EUZ, there are certain things that I haven't been able to get clarity on which I'm not happy about so I'm certainly not after a place on a throne as you put it, but I will challenge anyone who posts misleading information, if that causes upset so be it but I don't accept that the right to post an opinion supersedes the right of another poster to point out that it's plain wrong. Finally I'm very happy with my position here, I'm fortunate enough to have built the majority of my holding at low levels though as an honest fellow I will willingly confess I'm marginally in the red on trading and my ISA holding is also red as things stand. If anyone wants to gloat you could argue that the opportunity cost of having this capital tied up for years makes the position worse than that - I wouldn't argue, that is an economic fact.
Highside, well done for persisting. Unfortunately I don't have your energy or appetite anymore and ignore postings from the 3 posters on the throne and read the others. Unfortunately not many contributors so hope you keep posting, good to get some real opinions and facts.
Again you are wrong, you don’t understand about dual listings and cross listings. Every message I post is dissected and scrutinised my trolls like you. Its run through the thesaurus and dictionary for the tiniest of spelling mistakes, if nothing can be found wrong then selective quotes that change the intended meaning are paraded for all to see and championed as “daft statements”. As usual once you have lost you sign out with..well its getting boring now..lol..i bet it is but here’s a bit of advice If you dig a hole and fall in, you will not get out by digging further.
Bloodyredbarron..in the short term no, you will be hounded off the board by pedantic nobodies who a hugely down on their punts and taking it out on other sensible posters with an interest in this company..
In either scenario the SP of the JSE shares is closely connected to the SP of the LSE shares for the reasons I explained yesterday. Just give it up Highside you're digging a deeper and deeper hole for yourself. Anyway I'm certain everyone will agree this is getting boring so I'll leave it there.
"If its duel listed" then the SP for the JSE shares has little to do with the SP of UK listed shares. You know that full well that was what was said as you picked up on the spelling which is what started you off. We have now established despite your attempts to discredit me, that the shares are not Dual listed so i was 100% correct.
Highside I have nothing against you but since you have been posting here you are regularly issuing daft statements like "The SP for the JSE shares has little to do with the SP of UK listed shares". If you want to post your opinion be prepared for it to be scrutinised, it's nothing personal. Perhaps just stop and think and maybe you won't feel repeatedly offended when your errors are pointed out.
It was listed as FCR…Ferrum Crescent before the name change. Ferrum were listed on 3 exchanges..ASX, JSE and LSE….with the name change to Europa Metals they delisted off of ASX and delisted off the main JSE board to what is today know as the ALTX board and made AIM there main listing. From a personal perspective I only invest in JSE / ALTX shares that are listed on LSE as well in order to mitigate risk as the one should always keep the other one “honest” lols….and in the event of more companies pulling out of South Africa….it keeps my options open. GL
Thanks BricksSA ( i just twigged what the SA bit is ) :-) That about clears that up then. the listing must be a cross listed, i guess they would follow a similar SP within a small % or people would be buying on one market and selling on the other with an international account. Presumably the JSE listing is a historical thing?
There are 49million odd shares is issue….both exchanges show the same amount of shares in issue and the Mcap reflects one in rands and the other in pounds. So shares can in my opinion be moved as and when required between exchanges as long as the script goes with them. The differential on other companies who are listed on both exchanges also fluctuate similarly. I hold shares in Jubilee and Kibo and the same type of fluctuation occurs periodically with a differential sometimes of about 10%….but as I have previously stated the little one normally follows the big one and JSE for these shares will normally follow LSE ito price. But yes…the exchange rate does impact as well to a large extent. GL.
