Found it! Apologies. It’s .com not .es
Has the website been taken down? I can’t seem to find it
Evening all, Garwool this is an interesting one and we've had mixed messages as you noted. I won't go into it forensically but my take is that they are positioning themselves for possible JV / offtake arrangements while retaining a preference for complete sale. On the www.proyectotoral.es conversation my best guess is Jesus' response is keeping the party line, we're not in a 'please come and buy me' situation but as MC said the silver gives us 'optionality', reading between the lines of the last LR interview there could also be something else in the mix.
Evening guys, just going through Jesus’s response, I am in the mindset that in the latest RNS dated the 22nd January there was no mention of a pre-feasibility study by LR. The only one he mentioned was the ”Geotechnical to pre-feasibility Standard”, So the response from Jesus was slightly misleading. In my thinking, are Laurance and Jesus are on the same wavelength. If we are going to for a full prefeasibility study that would be months in the waiting and will cost company revenue. “We have enough capital for the current drilling and METS program” Any thoughts anyone? Good luck all.
Sorry Bricks - living in SA you may not have heard of Swampy. He was a protestor I think originally against the building of a bypass somewhere who became a bit of a figurehead for that movement.
Hi Bricks I'm with you 100% if it was simply Emerita alone, but with their current relationship with Aldesa they just might see Toral as a way to fast track their joint ambitions. Certainly interesting that a local has heard this rumour and while it's just one voice good to hear support on the ground for the project. Although I do have some 'Swampy' sympathies myself can you imagine that engagement board in this country, it would have crashed in 5 minutes with talk of rare orchids, endangered bats, near-extinct newts and a never before heard of Roman mosaic.
From what I can gather we are also ahead of them in the Mining Project Life cycle.....DYOR.GLA.IMO

The company is known as Cantabrica del Zinc ("CDZ") (Emerita and Aldesa's joint venture company).
Emerita Resources and Aldesa have formed a JV for exploration and are effectively Junior Miners with nothing being produced as yet ....so no income from this JV as yet. I view them as "explorers" and not as miners as they do not appear to have any "production" going for them... or any income...I cannot see them under the current JV they have in place affording Goldquest Iberica / Toral. THE AGENDA OF COMMUNITY COMMUNICATION AND LAUNCH OF EUROPA METALS IBERIA WEBSITE HAS BEGUN
Europa Metals is promoting several meetings with the main interest groups of the Toral project, as part of its transparency policy. The objective is to explain the latest developments in the research phase, in addition to the conceptual design of the mining project that is currently being shuffled.
The positive meeting with the 5 town halls of the area where the research area extends, aims to be a starting point for meetings with more neighborhood and county representatives. In parallel, Europa Metals is working with the administration departments that are processing the start document showing the conceptual project presented to the mining and environmental authority.
Europa Metals believes that feedback from stakeholders is one of the values of the project, in addition, we are working with the aim of not only properly explaining the development of the project, but also generating ways of communication in order to have account for all positive feedback received. With this dual objective, Europa Metals, in addition to promoting meetings, is publishing a website where the comments of interested persons can be reviewed and can be shown day by day of the progress of the project.

Is Europa Metals currently negotiating the sale of the Total Project to another mining company?

Dear Luis,
no, Europa Metals is developing the Toral project with the aim of being able to carry out a Pre-Viability Study based on the information of the surveys that are being carried out. Mining projects are always open to companies being able to participate in them but the company's goal is the development of the project.
Thank you for your feedback.

Shed, Aldesa employ 2800 people and have a net turnover of 976m
Sorry Yamser hadn't read that when I posted my flippant response. That sounds very intriguing and I must have missed it, strange how the industry rate Toral but oddballs on Twitter think it's a dud - who should we believe.....
Yamser call me a snob but I don't want to be bought out by a budget supermarket, I think we should hold out for the Waitrose Resources offer :)
Just read the presentation Shed, they list 7 Spanish deposits in that presentation including Toral with Toral having the highest Zinc % of them all http://www.emeritaresources.com/_resources/presentations/corporate-presentation.pdf
But Aldesa may have the financial muscle to buy it?
From their May 2019 presentation "Major global zinc deposits have been mined out, new deposits have not replaced them resulting in a sustained shortage of zinc concentrate". Emerita's current projects go to the smelter on the north coast of Spain near Toral so it would be a natural fit, however from what I can tell I don't believe they have the financial muscle to buy Toral.

Well done, just looked it up http://www.emeritaresources.com/corporate/about-us/
This is a combination of Google Translate and my own version of the comments at the bottom. My Spanish is not fluent but I get by pretty well. (Bracketed items are my suggested alternatives.) That said, please don't quote me . . . y haz tu propia investigación or and DYOR :

The communication with the community

Buena suerte a todos
Interesting as on 10th Jan someone asks if they're negotiating a sale, then on the 12th Jesús (IMO playing the party line) says no they're looking to get to pre-feasibility and develop the project, though open to participation with partners. The enquirer then apologises saying they thought Emerita Resources were interested in Toral. Could that be the local word 'en la calle'?????
I pasted the URL into Google/Chrome and it offered to translate it for me :-)
Can anyone on here read Spanish?
