Although this article is discussing iron ore, trade as a weapon neatly highlights why the EU is wanting to insulate itself, and why imho EUZ will become a mine.
Michael Shoebridge, director of defence, strategy and national security at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, said the drop in iron ore’s price reflects China’s move to lower its steel production, but also its policy to use trade as a “weapon”

Lots of news to flow due but i think LR needs to tell us what we are persuing which avenue we are going down. I also believe if he says we have enough cash to last X amount of time the SP will go up.
Yes i would think on reflection the updated JORC would be the foundations of the PFS so that needs to be sorted first. Of course they must be in progress in parallel but it will be interesting to see if they are released together ie if the JORC is held back
Sure Bricks didn't he say somewhere that AMS were actively guiding them with feedback throughout the campaign? I'd expect the final JORC approx a month after AMS getting the final assays though I note this from MC:
"Throughout the campaign the Europa Metals team has, in house, been updating our resource model as further information has become available. This will enable us to move quickly to commission an independent update to the existing resource estimate. We look forward to releasing such update to the market in due course." Obviously we need the independent JORC not our in-house estimates for the PFS and as ever 'due course' keeps us guessing :)
I make it Jorc update Highside…. "Throughout the campaign the Europa Metals team has, in house, been updating our resource model as further information has become available. This will enable us to move quickly to commission an independent update to the existing resource estimate. We look forward to releasing such update to the market in due course."
They did say that work was already ongoing while the drill results were coming in so in theory they could just need to process the final batch. Was that for the updated Jorc or the FS though. ?
No problem I've had worse :) I'm probably going a bit easier on them than your interpretation Newbie but I do think that once the data is in then preparing the PFS should have fairly predictable timelines. As I said you can't rule out WA having a lot of cases but that doesn't mean they couldn't say something like 'subject to unforeseen delays we expect......'.
Shed sorry
She’d, those are probably two of the best words used today - convenient fog - I think that just about sums it all up at the moment. Jam tomorrow.
ATB Pete
He's been back in and delivered the assays since then grappa, hoping we might get some metallurgy from those phase 1 wedges soon, then the JORC upgrade, then I think they should advise on timings for the PFS as there are less variables at the mercy of Coronavirus. Perhaps it would be reasonable to advise on timings with the caveat that the pandemic could push things back. I suppose we can't rule out WAI the PFS managers losing staff off sick with it but we have flu every year and I don't think it is rational any longer to say they can't give any timings because of it, it will just start looking like convenient fog IMO.
Thought LR had been on holiday hence quiet
MM - that was going around ARCM last week, or the week before... even I was getting excited.
Sadly, I'm not sure EUZ has "suddenly" gone quiet due to T/O... weren't we gearing up to become a junior miner (a "minor" lol)...
We're owed a little news, though.
No tweets, not much news LR gone quiet.

Possibility?
Good observation Chipmunk, I think there is some widespread underestimation of the team we have here in terms of (hopefully) moving forward to building a mine and production, Jesús and Evan particularly under the radar. EUZ to be the hottest property on AIM? Okay I've partaken of a glass of Claret but maybe just maybe..... hic!
Hi Money, Maybe Jesus Montero can put a good word in for us with Berkeley as he used to work for them.

Mines are also selling in spain and if Berkeley can’t get their uranium mine going they got $75,000,000 spare.

Just looking at this bumph as objectively as possible and really the only conclusion is that this stuff has been going on for years with monumental numbers, targeted at mining, in our region, why wouldn't we benefit? Turn it around, how could it possibly be justified for us not to have a piece of this?

Money…check here…thee are the projects already approved on 2nd July 2021
https://www.interregeurope.eu/news-and-events/news/12880/the-fifth-call-in-figures/
https://www.interregeurope.eu/remix/ There was this project which ended in June however if you look at the final Timeline (See below) it says they will approve this January 2022. Now LR I believe was on record saying this project would also provide other people such as Portugal and maybe others with their product.
Also if you read the announcement from the appointment of WA it says
WAI is a leading, globally recognised mining consultancy with a track record of conducting all levels of technical study required on projects that have successfully been financed and developed into full mining operations.
https://www.interregeurope.eu/about-us/2021-2027/
Read the timeline looks like this has already been Pre approved. Could it be the missing link?
The signatory of Mm's document is, Beatriz Casado Sáenz – Head of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Department, Institute For Business Competitiveness of Castilla Y León, did an image search and it's possible she is in this pic - https://twitter.com/LtdEuropa/status/1407634442492039168/photo/1
Back of the head so can't prove anything but found a picture of her at a conference and it's a possibility, yeah I know lot's of ladies with shoulder length brown hair - just enjoying a snoop, humour me :)
Agree with you Sheds….it was actioned in Sept 2019….with objective:
With the execution of this Action Plan, it is expected to mobilize the regional mining sector towards R&D&i. It is expected to boost 30 innovations (new products/processes proposals) around the “Smart and Green Mining” concept, with the final objective of boosting their competitiveness, increasing the regional growth and number of jobs.
That’s 2 years ago ….must be news soon.
Almost home and hosed imo….based on the below which of course EUZ has been focussing on.
The actions will be coordinated and monitored by ICE (PP2), and developed by ICE and other regional stakeholders such as Universities, Technological Centers and Foundations. Of course, companies will participate also in these actions, mainly as recipients but in some cases also as technology bidders.
Under the frame of the 2014–2020 ERDF Operational Program we will look to the promotion of new projects and management capabilities taking in consideration the following issues:
• New mining processes knowledge, best practices exchanges: technical, legal and social integration
• Green economy in mining processes: best practices, knowledge
and integration possibilities in the regional mining sector
• Promoting and fostering of cross sectorial innovation and integration of different activity sector
• Promote the generation / coordination of the regional capacity building around these sectors, integration of activities
• Fostering the public-private collaboration between regional entities and national and international ones in the indicated field
• Integration of skills associated to the different sectors
This is one of the most encouraging documents I have ever read. The action plan is time stamped 2019 so should be well advanced by now, they are talking about huge funds, specifically for mining and specifically in C&L. As Bricks says so much of it has echos of LR comment. We also have Cornwall cited as a good practice case study and LR's site visit on Twitter. Trying not to get carried away but aren't we the perfect candidate to benefit from something like this? Years of private investment bringing a mine to the brink of 100% viability, simply in need of a cash injection to get us over the line. Dare we dream?
Good article Money….that’s why I am off the opinion we can take this all the way to Production with no further dilution….except of course for the warrants outstanding which are imo minimal.
I think EUZ have landed with their a*** in the butter so to speak. AH by all accounts would have added tremendous value to these negotiations and I am convinced we have a number of value events coming up soon. GL and thank you for keeping us abreast with some of the key. Events taking place in EU and funding opportunities.
