I was talking to a Commercial Mining Financier yesterday, who has been in the job for 30 years, and he said that he has never known such difficult funding conditions , as those that exist right now.
That's why so many Junior Miners are failing to find Funding or JV Partnerships and are just having to keep Placing, in order to survive - which many don't.
Lets hope that LR & MC & CB have better luck in this arena and don't have to give Toral away too cheaply to any interested 3rd party, despite the potential size of the resource , as many have done recently - eg Dalradian Resources ?

waiting for an early Christmas....wake up every morning looking for a sling shot in my XMAS sock !!!
So your not an investor then ste your a trader. The day to day trading is a small bump in the road the potential will come out after the ss. Do I think it will take 2 years IMO to sky rocket? No. In my opinion it will be far higher before the end of next year if not far before then. Chances are we are going to get bought out by a bigger company or JV after SS if the SS is as strong as Lawrence is making it out to be.
Steve surly you cant get upset at a company potentialy making multiple of sp from now over next two years? Even if it goes to 20mcap its still a huge rise from now.
Exactly oiltap. Management know what is there, who their target audience is, what they are looking for and what is required by them in the form of this SS/Pre feasibility study (which is probably closer to what they're trying to produce).
Happy to trust management judgement, especially when markets are like this, and let them produce the definitive document and release it when they are sure it is fully ready.
Any release now will only be sold into irrespective of how great it is. Patience is all that is required.
It doesn’t matter when the SS lands I’d rather the best SS that can possibly be done with PF included than a sh*t SS just to please traders if your not trading day to day SP doesn’t matter a good quality company will always find its true value and when it does it will be worth the wait in the meantime take advantage of the bargain!
Think patience is needed im in no rush if it takes till december am happy so long as they cover all the bases. Bet its gonna be one hell of an ss and tonnage increase always happy to.wait for good news.
Not entirely happy OT
And all that talk about Xmas for the scope isn't helping. Been waiting since end of September for a wiff of it.
Thanks Martina, appreciate. I'm nitpicking and trying to not mis something. (to my own frustration sometimes) Relatively heavily invested in EUZ, relative to my personal finances, and don't want to miss something. This really just feels like a solid investment at these prices with low risk. Let's see what the future holds.
"Something" is going to cause the SP to accelerate very quickly", which may not be in the current "Knowledge Domain", from a standing start.

Matrix - exactly as it sounds ;)
Great podcast, very happy with the work they're doing on the SS and what kind of document they're going to end up with.
As Laurence said in that email, "there are scoping studies and there are scoping studies".
Thanks for sharing, very positive feedback from him and regarding the SS. Sounds like a proper document, and stated as being released definitely before Christmas. What does the following mean when he says with regard to share price:
"Value will come, but I think it's probably going to be a sling-shot."
Excellent update today, nice rise to start with but I would have expected more. Now we have 1 sell and the sp is down on the day! How the hec?
Great opinions and no doubt positions being taken!
I reckon the best is yet to come from EUZ, £6m cap is madness. If the SS doesn't straighten this one out then a JV or possible sale of Toral would. Well when you look at what re-assaying just selected cores did to the JORC then just imagine if they took the time and money and re-assayed all 40,000m of historic cores, let alone drill further high grade extensions, they could go to that expense with a large JV partner. Imo 19Mt is only scratching the surface (literally as its still open at depth and along strike :)). It'll be interesting to see what the infill drill shows to firm up the SS towards DFS and JV/funding. The tiny cap and quality of the asset makes this one vulnerable to a bidder.
Agreed, huge asset around $3bn of contained metal in Spain, a slow but mining friendly area. Its in a region that's been heavily mined with a historic mine within walking distance from Toral. LR has already been talking to 3rd parties and mentioned that in an interview, that's why he's so excited about the quality of this very large discovery. Cap here should be easily £20m+ before scoping study, there's many companies out there with higher comparative caps and lesser assets, across both oil and gas and mining. Its only a matter of time before this one pops.
Good RNS's today, say it all:
Toral is the "Real Deal" - we don't need Lago - it's too small & costs money to renew the licences.
Finding good Zn/Pb mineralisation close to surface, on the Eastern Extension of the pre-defined "Core" high grade area on the Block Model. This area has never been drilled before, so adds potential scope to extend the resource, in area, and , potentially, depth. Diamond Drill campaign to follow will either confirm or disprove this theory.
We don't need Peterhouse,, who had a "Place & Dump" business model. We are happy with Turner Pope and their Placee client base.
Bring on the SS, when the mkts have settled down.
IMHO DYOR. GLA.
No problem
Thanks for the clarification, much appreciated!
A broker is required to be listed on AIM - so they are the ones that can raise funds for the company - in this day and age many companies don't even use their own brokers to raise money! Its just part of the rules to have them - TPI haven't been to bad in all honesty.
The broker has nothing to do with external parties wanting to buy the asset just to clarify.
They had joint brokers before....which included Peterhouse Corporate Finance Ltd
Agreed that all news seem positive.
Surprised that there's so little increase in SP.
Please excuse what is probably a silly question, as I'm newbie with Investing, specifically even more so with mining.
What does following sentence from the quarterly update refer to, or what can be read in this:
"The Company today announces that Turner Pope Investments (TPI) Limited has assumed the role of sole broker to the Company with immediate effect."
My layman's guess would be that they have appointed a broker, should someone want to make purchase offers for the mine or company?
Is this standard compliance practice, or is this a positive sign that they are already considering this or possibly getting enquiries?
Scoping Study then infill drilling results...... getting juicy and we should have all this by the year end.
12.75M buys over on NEX and 1m sells.
