Spoon Good luck, 1917 is a top movie, how they made the set seem so massive blew my mind, hope you enjoy it.
For as long as i can remember, Eurasia has just been a simple buy and hold share. That's all anyone has had to to to increase their net worth, buy the golden tickets and hold on to the golden tickets. You don't even need to sell, why you ask, well, because, investment bankers are doing the share selling for you. The BOD are big shareholders, the more they sell the company for the more they get. There's no better incentive if you ask me.

PP I've been there done that before, maybe we are all "Bedwetters" At times or maybe we aren't as mentally strong or wealthy as others but who gives a f*ck, its our choice what we do but just dont make that decision based on posts on a board as thats the real mistake! Trying to protect your wealth is a good thing no matter what others think, I want it to pay off mainly for my own personal wealth but also to see how much euphoria would be on this board would be amazing to read! Seriously imagine the posts!
The downside to that is if it doesn't go the way we all want it'll be hoorendous, I dont think I'll read these boards if so mainly for how sad it would be for some but also because it would be full of scumbags gloating at others loosing money! F*ckheads! How in the f*ck anyone gets joy out of that is beyond me? I've openly admitted I dont think the final sp assuming sale will be as high as some think but thats just my opinion based on some very basic calcs and being a more cautious person and if I was somehow right I would still be very happy as I would have made money, 100% want to be wrong though.
Time to go watch a film, 1917 it is tonight, I hope its good!
MYSONISCALLEDHBOS, I'm curious as you say have been in/out over the last year and you are "pooping your pants" at a slight drop ? to 28p.
How many shares did you have at 4p ? how much would they be worth now ? (you would also be in safe zone and not "pooping your pants").
How much have you made trading this share ?. no need for figures but which route would have been more profitable ?.
Spoon, I did bail and bought back in. I screwed myself out of 20k shares, I've bought enough extra shares to cover all the lost shares and some extra to cover the cost of them. If it comes off it will be ok.
My advice if anyone does the same and wants back in is don't panic, wait, because I could have turned that sell off to my advantage if I had waited a few days.
I hope its soon Ginger as I think we all could do with a break from here lol!
"Hope none of that reads as being negative" Hmmmm ferg.gg! Its this kind of comment that anoys the sh*t out of me, not because you made it but because you felt you had to make it! Your post is as honest as they come, thats how I prefer to do things, if you upset people unintentionally along the way then so be it but atleast you are being true to yourself and others and not just playing ball!
F*cking ask questions no matter how negative or positive because in the end its your money thats at risk and what would bother you more, not asking a question which could loose you money or asking a question to help you better understand something that may again unintentionally upset someone but prevent you from loosing? I have zero interest in p*ssing anyone one off but be sure I'll ask anything if it helps me in investing or I'll make a comment if it helps someone else, I'd rather do that than ramp or deramp the sh*t out of a share just for my own benefit while knowing the pitfalls or positives that could happen! Yea we all say stuff that sometimes is wrong but aslong as you are not just feeding a false narrative for your own benefit then post away.
I'm in a similar boat (Ship?) To you and I wont sell, I'm here till we get that RNS, if it turns out bad well atleast I can say it was based on my decision and no one elses.
Soap box rant over :)
I have £20000 invested.
£10000 at 38 pence and £10000 at 32 pence.
This morning at sub 28 pence isn't a nice feeling but i always stay strong and keep the faith.
I have also traded it multiple times (and always sold at a profit) since last year. I first bought at 4 p.
My Bid price that keeps coming into my head is 85 pence a share. No idea why!!
ferg.gg I think you're in a similar boat to me, after my wobble I put more into this to cover the the lost shares, I'm now £26k into this, that is a lot of money for me. I've only ever put this much into FTSE 100 shares trading them over a week or two little risk but returns limited to 10% to 15%, not life changing but easy money. I know I'm leaving myself open to more risk here than I would normally hence why I'm up 7am every morning checking for RNS. For me, I can take a hit on the whole lot but it would take me a year or two to recover that.
I totally get you, ferg. I really hope this pays out for you and everyone who have held for such a long period (I'm a complete newbie) - I would certainly have jumped overboard long before now. Hang in there - there is only upside from now on.
Totally get where you're coming from harry... I got in a bit earlier at 17p and topped up into the high 20's, but it's been really tough at times (been in since August), lots of highs and lows.
I will always have the niggle in the back of my head, because I'm not rich and don't have a high paying job and have invested for me a lot of money in to this. So it'd be unhealthy to not have some sense of fear, doubt and like you say when the de-rampers decide to grace us with their presence it makes you start to doubt yourself and everything about being invested. It's not just EUA you'll see it on most of the boards here.
Thing is I have another niggle that makes me imagine selling out and then the big sale happening. And me spending the rest of my life thinking about what could have been... wondering why I didn't trust myself to hold.
So I will hold and wait and see what happens along with everyone else. I know there are others like me here and that is always reassuring.
The figures some people post of £2+ would change my life forever, but I don't let myself get carried away with hype or get my hopes up too much, I can imagine it being nearer £1 which would still massively change my life and hopefulky everyone elses for the better and I'd snap their hand off for that of offered! Who here wouldn't take £1 a share right now just to end this whole waiting game and that tiny doubt everyone must have deep down because nothing is ever certain.
Hope none of that reads as being negative, not meant to be at all and you did ask for honesty which I am happy to give :)
Especially when septic Lils about and she’s been on the rum Ceejay1awest ;-)
As a matter of pure coincidence, I renamed our boat 'grog 'n' weevils' earlier this year, a nod to one of our favourite movies: Master & Commander: the far side of the world'...a good omen if ever there was one :-)
I agree Montana,
my compass is always pointing north ;)
I agree harryharls, we find the nautical banter hilarious. Me and my other half have incorporated the nautical banter into our daily lives too and we never laughed so much.
Evening everyone, I have to admit that I was getting worried. Yesterday I had reached the point where I was just beginning to lose money on my average investment. I started buying in at around 23p after a tip from a good friend who's been in since the penny days, I continued to release funds from elsewhere and carried on investing right through to 34.69p and beyond this after it dipped back down. I'm relatively new to investing in this way and despite researching thoroughly myself and reading all the posts here avidly, I was feeling the trickle of sweat running down my back! I'm a strong holder with faith (and hope) in the potential of EUA but the nay-sayers were beginning to get to me. It's so hard to try to determine between genuine helpful advice, rampers, de-rampers, bot flies (whatever they are?) and outright a##holes trying to disrupt it all (no names mentioned). I. for one. love the nautical banter on here, the analogies of weighing anchor/tied at dock/setting sail/blue seas/compass heading north etc. really make me laugh. I might even get some rum in...just in case. Anyway, I held my nerve and it paid off today, here's hoping the course is set for Treasure Island, splice the main brace and land ahoy...GLA
