Evening TJTHEDJ30,
Thanks for your kind post, yes, a first to have lunch out in 2021 and on such a lovely day!
Have a great weekend, cheers.
Hi Ian, the Barge Inn a great place to eat and drink, been there many times. Glad you managed to finally get there..
Afternoon all,
Same here as GFD, had my first haircut of 2021 at 10:30 am today!
Clive, suggested yesterday we go to 'The Barge Inn' at Battlesbridge, Wickford, for lunch today as the weather forecast was good for outside eating, he picked me up as I'm on the way in his nice 4Litre Supercharged Jaguar and we joined the A127 to go to Battlesbridge which is only 25 min down the road!
We had just got to the Rayleigh Wier underpass on the A127 when everything stopped suddenly at 11:45? nothing moved at all and after 20 min people were getting out of their cars and walking around bemused.
One couple even let their dog out of the car on a lead to go to the toilet?
We were trapped, can't go forward, can't go backward!
Googling brought up some traffic news of a road accident,
'A127 Southend Arterial Road London bound blocked! queueing traffic for three miles due to overturned recovery vehicle between A129 Rayleigh Wier and A1245 Fairglen Interchange'
'Congestion back to Progress Road and delays on the opposite side due to onlookers and the A129 as traffic tries to find an alternative route'
We had been stationary for 45 min and the thought of that cup of coffee I had earlier on was now starting to play on my mind!
A recovery truck could be one of those big ones that tow away broken-down busses, they are massive and if one of those has turned over we could be here for hours?
The outside table reservation was for 1 pm, we tried to ring the pub to say we might be late, or even not make it at all.
I tried to ring Mick who was to join us for lunch at The Barge Inn as he would come from the other direction from Brentwood way.
As usual, Mick had his phone switched off to save the battery!
Luckily after an hour, we started to move and got to the lunch venue, Mick was unaware and sipping his pint laid back in the sun!
The food was delicious and so glad that we did make it, it was touch and go for a while.
I noticed this post from carlito22 earlier, I think we should congratulate him on his shareholding :-)
Carlito22
"Hope you Guys have got your votes in, did mine last week(Voted FOR) - holding 0.7% at mo' - every little bit helps no matter how much you hold !"
Carlito22 is holding 0.7% of EUA stock?
Thats 0.7% of 2,759,000,000 shares!
That means be he holds 19,313,000 Shares!
Wow, very impressive Carlito indeed!
Good luck to you my friend :-)
Ignore posted by mistake, those blooming adverts keep making the post message box move around!
Will post complete post in a mo!

Tobler - I think you may well have the right idea here. I originally thought that they would go for a sale of the big assets, then develop the remainder , but the later announcements talked about selling the whole company.
1noise - thanks for your mention.
I hope that both of you are right!
In effect this is just a HUGE game of "Dragons Den"
The Japanese WANT what we've got!
WE'VE got access to commodities that the whole world wants!
What are the Japanese going to do to secure access to these assets?
I can only think of two things either,
1. A complete buy out.
2. A huge pot of money to get it all into production and guarantee them access to the first say 50000 Oz each year.
All in my opinion of course!
I agree with Pacha, no ones buying Mt and not getting the Rosgeo JV mines, Mt comes with the JV mines as a sweetener IMO, WK could well go to another party (Lesego) or even remain with EUA.
Tobler, very interesting, if so could we expect announcement immediately after EGM ?
Pacha,
I think your right, but hopefully we'll find out soon!
IMO it doesn't make sense to sell assets, if a third or even fourth parties are "coming in" they will bring the money needed to get the assets into production.
No need for Eurasia to raise money!
Sensible post! Dimitry mentioned a dividend pay out to. Something to think about over the weekend . Cheers Tobler
Quite possible, none of us know for sure, however the EGM circular is explicit in stating:
"The Rosgeo JV aims to establish a world class PGM district on Kola with the Monchetundra asset as the cornerstone project."
Therefore I cannot see MT being sold as part of 'old EUA' then 'new EUA' moving on with the Rosgeo JV. It's clear to me that MT is all in with the Rosgeo JV.
All interesting theories though, and hopefully it won't be long before we find out.
I for one would be very happy to receive Special Divi(sale of MT & WK) and hold shares for Divi's in future from JV ( which would blow any FTSE Divi out of the water!) ......that is my preference as will only be reinvesting money in divi paying stocks.
Hope you Guys have got your votes in, did mine last week(Voted FOR) - holding 0.7% at mo' - every little bit helps no matter how much you hold !
Not often we get a clear, concise, and positive post from a first poster, but nice one tobler. I love the simplicity of this suggestion and would be happy to see it play out. It allows for existing investors to exit, hold or reinvest; provides an opportunity for new investors to come in based on a clear development strategy with the number one partner you want (Rosgeo) with off-take agreements in place with Japanese manufacturers. Pretty much perfect scenario.
How would you estimate the value of each share held in OLDCO and NEWCO?
Tobler, that is fantastic - that sorts the problem for Krayl49 (see his post from yesterday at 13:14)
Give us all a huge divi but take it back to fund the Ros/JV.
I'd feel like HappyScot that found a shilling but lost sixpence !

Good post, similar to my thinking too, hence the; "we are making progress on the strategic options available to the Company" comments.
For those who haven’t twigged it yet...
This is an old EUA vs new EUA playing out
Old EUA assets (MT, WK) are sold
Existing shareholders will get full benefit via special dividend of all funds received
For new EUA (Rosego JV) therefore, a new fundraising will be needed to move this forward
Existing shareholders can choose to be fully involved via rights issue, where they can reinvest their dividend funds if they’re up for the next part of the journey, or they can choose to walk away and be diluted in the new company
And then of course, new investors (Japan for eg) need to be able to have a stake in the new EUA - hence next weeks EGM
End game is in sight, enjoy the weekend
