Thanks again Mac - just shows the value of reading back old announcements!
No worries. Suts, it's in RNS -
"In the Company's announcement of 16th September 2019, it was noted that the appointment of Mr. Nieuwenhuys to the board would only occur if a potential transaction with Lesego Platinum was to progress. The Company would like to reiterate that there has been a change of approach at board level, and at this stage, there is no intention to enter into any arrangement with Lesego, although both companies continue to keep this under review. Instead, the Directors believe that the experience of Anthony and his contacts, especially among PGM and gold producers in Russia, China and South Africa, could be beneficial for the Company as it continues to explore potential options for the Company's assets including a potential sale of the Company's mining assets. However, as previously stated, there can be no guarantee that any transaction, with any party, will occur."
When they took him on they explained. Hope this clears it up for you.

Thanks Mac,
Definitely a RNS worth revisiting but leaves one wishing there was a little more detail on both the Sinosteel arrangement and the Lesago DD. A senior director carrying out DD who may join the board if discussions progress and then joins the company later instead! This RNS certainly raises more questions for me than answers thanks again.
Suts.
Select RNS tab and go and find it Topcat, as i have said, it is dated 16th Sept, not very hard to find tbh.
That extraction i provided is from the RNS, go look, you never know you may even enjoy it!

The price of Platinum then--$950 an ounce which was a 21% increase on the previous year's $792.
what do you mean the date is wrong?
is this an actual RNS or a hopeful suggestion?
Is it an RNS from EUA or Lesogo
"Lesego Platinum due diligence and CEO site visits of both Monchetundra and West Kytlim
Mr. Churakov has recently helped to arrange detailed due diligence and multi-day site visits by James Nieuwenhuys, CEO and Director of Lesego Platinum as part of the Lesego Platinum's evaluation of both Monchetundra and West Kytlim projects. Over the past few months Lesego Platinum performed due diligence of Eurasia's assets accompanied by several days of visits of Monchetundra mine and Eurasia's office in Ekaterinburg to study the West Kytlim mine.
Over the course of the site visit, Lesego Platinum studied and evaluated infrastructure availability and logistics access, drill core samples, results of laboratory test works along with other information and raw data, which form the ground for assessment of both Monchetundra and West Kytlim projects to consider, amongst other options, potential partial acquisition of Eurasia's subsidiaries and joint venture opportunities at the sites."
Sept 16th the RNS is dated.

Sept date is wrong, but it refers to a possible JV with Lesego Platinum. They were the first to approach in 19, the banks then approached confident that they could beat whatever was suggested.

Thanks for reminding me of this RNS. I have always struggled with it's content. It refers to an RNS of the 15th Sept. 2019 that should contain details of expected business value. CITIC were engaged to deliver a value for greater than that quoted. My problem is I have never been able to find the 15th Sept. 19 document to determine what figure CITIC are trying to better ! Can anyone used light on this ?
Suts
16 months since this RNS -

Did i expect to still be here at a 16 month point at the time, no most definitely not. I didn't think it would take that long at the time tbh. Looks like the competition has been nice and strong though imho, that in turn should fetch us many full treasure chests!

BOTB up 16%, not sure they ever wanted to sell

Agree DORE, this better be worth the wait : )
Aye she's a long one!
I think most will appreciate that it's far past anything that could have been realistically predicted from an average time frame of other company FSP's. It will conclude however and i do think that time is around now.
8 months on March 1st, it has been some wait to date that's for sure!
GLA
