Lol, filter away. I have a TV that has a special button on it that will send a signal to my microwave and kettle, absolutely amazing it is. I also have a load of palladium in my back garden if anyone wants to make me an offer?
Morning Ian,
Bedroom fan? TV? Car?
Blimey mate; they say it comes in threes. But then something really good happens.
Chin up mate, nearly there!
Morning Ian
I once had an issue with a Panasonic plasma tv 15 years ago , but they came out to the house and replaced a part free of charge, tv still going strong today .
good luck mate .
and filtered !
dingbat
filteted !
Cop shot dead in detention centre in London, rest of today put in perspective. Forget EUA today folks and just enjoy life and let the big day surprise you, that's what I'm doing now.

Well I think Ian broke the car window while trying to get the broken TV in the car and I bet there is a dent in the side too where he booted the car !!!
Ian i have had a go for a while so could you put me down for 2/9 please
Bad luck with the TV Ian. I'm surprised John Lewis palmed you off with a local repair.
Ding bat..leave Ian alone please. He’s kept us all amused while we LTH have been in the waiting room. The research guys here are great and have kept us well informed ref Eua so nowt new to post for now..Ian’s bedtime stories are a must (lol)
Bad luck lately Ian, mind I have to say in regards to a TV I could could happily dispose of mine out of the window and read a book instead? Absoloute BS they feed us with every day has me turning off most of the time anyway :)
Hope you get sorted soon, in the meantime may I request the 08/10 for the gargantuan RNS?
All the best
Morning Ian, are you a Which member? They are brilliant at following up on things like this and certainly get the attention of providers who fail to live up to their marketing promises and obligations. Even if you are not it may be worth trying them.
@ Ian, isn't this meant to be a page about EUA, not you freaking TV lol. Next you will be washing your car in the rain and telling us you have a special soap that doesn't wash away in the rain?
Good morning Saxonaxe,
The car is ongoing, I have the replacement s/h rear window £50 + £30 delivery and the window glass bonding kit £25, I have removed all the interior trim and wiper motor that pokes through the glass and now we have rain, wind, and now cold weather, so plastic sheet it is to keep out the rain till hopefully next week when it might improve. I can't get the car in the garage as if I did the car is so wide I wouldn't be able to open the door and get out! I could crawl out through the missing rear window but I think I'm too old for that now, haha.
The TV, it has suffered from a manufacturing defect just five months in, and John Lewis at present think I'm going to accept a repair by a local company, they are mistaken. It is not just some circuit board that needs replacing it is the whole 85in 8K screen.
This TV a flagship Sony model cost, when it first came out, more than a car to purchase, it has since come down in price and due to the start of COVID I thought I would treat my self to some cutting edge Audio Visual, it had been perfect till last Sunday.
I have kept every bit of cardboard and polystyrene packaging so will re-box it for John Lewis to either exchange or refund.
I do not think that stripping this set down to its components and rebuilding it from the bottom up is fair to the customer when it is only five months old and had previously been calibrated on the Sony production line for colour accuracy to boot, this TV comes from their 'Master Range' and that is what you are paying for!
Have a good day Saxonaxe, all the best.
Ian
@ Headancer. At one point Colt stopped manufacture of their AR15 due to market saturation.
Corruption = dishonest or fraudulent conduct by those in power, typically involving bribery.
Armed = equipped with or carrying a firearm or firearms
I believe the two are spelt differently?
If we are talking corrupt have a look across the water.
275m privately owned firearms in the USA.
Lol stix 40! Just seen the clip!
Good morning all, Ian, I hope you got your car and tv sorted, it was beginning to sound like an episode of one foot in the grave!!!
Hope we get an update, interim report is due, looking forward to that!
We are a week closer, wouldn’t want to be out or short!

Rowka: appreciate your response, thank you. And while I was taking it in it suddenly occurred to me - not all govt corruption / regulatory shortcutting is necessarily a deterrent - depending on the buyer. On the contrary, I can't imagine it being remotely a deal breaker for, lets say, a China based buyer.
Saxonaxe - I've followed Rowka's copious postings for a time now and while I don't pretend to know him from Adam I infer enough to conclude he really doesn't need an ex squaddie to fight his battles if indeed battles they are. And you Sir won't be coming anywhere near my soup or tambourine.
Give peace a chance
Indy
Agree Tilly Rowka has provided us with
5* research !
gla
Rowka ,
your digging abilities are quality & appreciated by many on here , in fact your hands resemble the Armadillos for its excellent foraging skills & resistance to irritating bites

Who arms themselves with a bowl of soup and a tambourine?
Rowka
You don’t have to explain yourself to anybody!
Yes mate, your in denial. You believe all the anti Russian propaganda that goes around.
Also I’m ex army, I don’t like to talk about it, but I could disarm a man with a bowl of soup and a tambourine quicker than anybody,

Do you think Australia is a corrupt free country ? I think you will find the Mining sector in Australia does suffer from many forms of approval and due diligence corrupt practices .
No country is completely free of this !
good luck !
