Hi 1noise. I looked at both those options and the signalshare.com one requires more details (where the shares are held in Crest - paperless) than many will have; I don't.
The form of proxy will only work if the shares are held in your name, not that of a nominee account holder. All of my shares are held in Crest with ii so it will be ii's name appearing on the share register. Were I to send them a form of proxy, they wouldn't know me from Adam and nor would they be able to find out by whom my shares are held. So, essentially, that is a waste of time unless the form of proxy is one issued by your own nominee account holder.
It's essentially the same when you wish to attend an AGM and vote in person, where your shares are held in a nominee account. In that case, you have to obtain from your nominee account holder a letter confirming that you are the beneficial owner of x number of shares, in order to be able to attend and vote.
Simplest and safest thing to do, if you want to be sure that your votes will count, is to give instructions to your nominee account holder, however difficult that might be.
I have a 2001 RC51.
Me and the wife are both with HL and sent them a secure message last week and heard back to confirm they had recieved all details, obviously voted FOR all resolutions.
I test rode the new Triumph Speed Triple RS 1200 but wasn’t impressed
The Honda CB1000 R is amazing
Keep safe buddy
here you go....
"Shareholders wishing to vote, or appoint the Chairman of the meeting as proxy, on any of the matters of business may do so electronically at www.signalshares.com. Or a form of proxy is available at the Company's website (https://www.eurasiamining.co.uk/investors/circulars-notices)"
Nice bike Tricky57, I've an Triumph Explorer 1200 XCX (My 2nd). I'm looking at the new Triumph Speed Twin (TFC if it's out by then) with the proceeds and a BMW 1250 RT for big trips.
I love Hondas but they have nothing I like at the moment, I've had the CBF 1000, VFR800 & VFR1200 if they'd of built the VFR1200T that was rumoured I'd have had it in a shot.
Assuming your abiker.
I am currently riding a Triumph Street TripleS. But have it up for sale as changing to the all new 2021 Honda CB 100R, which is currently sat in the Honda showroom in Nottingham, where I live.
Hoping the mother RNS lands v soon to help me pay for it .
What are you riding buddy ?
Hi Ian, yes they delivered at 11.11, although he was not as cheerful as the usual guys. I've spent most of the day strutting my stuff around the bedroom in them.
Which brings me to a very funny story... about 20 years ago I went to view some second hand leathers at a someone's house, I tried the jacket on and it was ok. The guy says try the trousers on, the bathrooms upstairs on the right, ermm, ok. So I goes up, pulls the trousers on and they were a little snug, well I have quite big calves (rugby/powerlifting, etc) and when trying to get them off, well they were stuck fast! The more I struggled the tighter they got. Long story short after about 20 mins I peeled them off and walked downstairs to be met by what seemed the whole family and friends, me totally red faced and flustered. I don't know what they must of thought I was doing up there with the noise and state of me! Without haggling I gave him full price and made a sharp exit, never wore them again before selling them on at a loss. I still laugh about it to this day and gladly never saw him again.
Thankfully I'll never end up on 'This is your life', imagine the ending, Well you haven't seen Dave in 20 years.......
Sbrace - the problem lies not with EUA but in the choice of nominee account holder that shareholders choose to hold their shares. Pick a decent one like ii, maybe? In these things, like so many things in life, you only get what you pay for. Quality comes at a cost.
Anyway, persevere, please do. Every vote counts.
Ian, beyond ridiculous really when’s it’s so important to eua. No reply to my 5 day old email to ig yet and just don’t have time to sit on phone to them. Must be a better way for eua to receive our vote, too much red tape. Atb
Good evening all
Today's hopeful at the last minute was Me! as we had no one down for today I put myself forward!
Well, I didn't win, and to be fair I didn't expect to!
Was nice to see 24p pop-up, but as usual, it didn't last.
Fought my way through the treacle that is now EQi, NO corporate actions for EUA, well what a surprise!
I sent them a secure message five days ago to say that I wanted to vote FOR all 8 resolutions, and still, they had not read my message.
After 40 minutes on the phone, I get to speak to someone and ask why my secure message has not been actioned, I get informed it can take up to 7 days for an answer to a secure message, seven days! snail mail.
I then ask the lady to read my message and action it, to be informed - If EUA doesn't tell us they have an AGM, how do you expect us to know about it? I said I'm telling you now! I don't think we can do anything if we haven't been informed she said? I said last time for the EGM the person I spoke to just took my voting instructions and that was that, I'll put you on hold and ask around.
She came back and said she apparently has to fill out a template and then send it off to corporate actions, this is a first, I've been here years and never had to do one of these before, how do you want to vote?
I said as per my secure message, all the info is there!
In the end, all done, but some brokers just make it hard work to vote, this was worth doing as it was for 512,000 shares.
So that is me now fully voted FOR, with all 4 of my accounts.
Still no more info as to when UPS might find my parcel and get round to delivering it.
I wonder how OutofReach got on today? did UPS deliver his Triumph motorcycle clothing OR NOT?
Have a lovely evening all, cheers.
Morning Ian & all.
Strange that you mention UPS, I literally just clicked on their tracking page before reading your post trying to locate the parcel they said was coming Friday am, Friday pm then Monday am? I usually don't bother but it's a rather nice half price Triumph Gore-Tex suit and gloves (Triumph motorcycles not underwear btw ;), Triumph clothing outlet if anyone's interested). A little patience gift to myself in anticipation of additions to my stable on conclusion of this.
Good luck Ian
I had a parcel delivered by another courier. I sent it to an address but somebody in the depot changed the address to somewhere about 25 miles away!
Despite them admitting their mistake they only refunded me their standard £20 insured compensation, and it took nearly 4 months to get the full insured amount refunded.
Not saying you will have the same problem, but goes to show they are good at grinding you down and I think they assume you will give up trying.
That doesn't sound good! I see that their compensation scheme is useless as well as they seem to wangle their way out!
I will have to wait 20 days say BenQ to see if it turns up before they will reimburse me, great.....
Another day closer to our MEGA SPECIAL Divd.
Hope it’s not another saga like the TV ;)
My old company used to use UPS all the time but we now think it stands for Useless Parcel Service so stopped using them
Morning Ian, can you stick me down again for the 9th July, my birthday and also last years major rns guess.
All the best to LTH.
Ha ha, thanks guys, I'm currently trying to work out what UPS have done with my parcel that I was expecting, sever days last week they kept stating it was out for delivery by end of day, nothing, beginning to think they have lost it in their system! I see they have a 92% BAD score on trustpilot, great....
Good morning Ian,
Excellent weekend spent with my brother for his 50th and a great time had by all. Got home last night and did my duty as a shareholder and voted for ALL of the resolutions. EUA have a very good standing within the Russian mining community. The Rosgeo deal shows that. Obviously there is still some work to do firming up the resources and preparing for the next stage.
I have to say if I had known 18 months ago this was where we would be I would still have been happy to buy into this fantastic company. The fundamentals have not changed in fact if anything they just keep getting better. Got a little something dropping into my pot in a couple of weeks and will have another top up if we don't hear anything biblical before then.
Best of luck for the RNS today Ian it would be truly fitting if you were the only recipient of Septic Lil's gratitude particularly after all you have done to keep us entertained. Take care all.
Good luck for you today
7.00 RNS would be great start to the week and we are getting closer to the AGM so any news would be fantastic and another few days blue sailing to lift spirits, I know that the sp has no relation the deal but seeing blue in your portfolio confirms why we are here
As usual GLTA
Good morning all
I hope you had a lovely weekend with friends and family
