Earache is appropriately named.
Hi Earache,
In relation to your point 2, I don't see any reason for a delay of months before the deal is signed off and finalised.
A deal will be worked and fine tuned as it goes and the legal side of it worked on as the deal is agreed/finalised and outline legal documents will be started as a deal progresses to being agreed/finalised because when a deal is agreed it is essentially finalised.
Any "lawyer imposed conditions" couldn't be different to the agreed deal or the deal simply is no longer the agreed deal.
That is my take and my experience of the sale of a company I was involved in.
Also if you consider DS to be essentially passed it and moved aside then wouldn't his being moved aside be viewed as a positive by the market if that was the case ?
Good post earache.
Anything other then a blind ramp without facts gets filtered here lol.
Earache....most will have switched off at 'Jeez'.
Don't waste your time buddy on typing stuff nobody will read
Dickie - no problem
Sorry crabby thought you were referring to me asking if it would be breach of insider trading to sell once deal price is on table etc
Dickie - I meant he isn’t going anywhere before the deal is done like earache suggested earlier.
No doubt once the deals done he’ll move on
If he gets me £2.16 a share I won’t mind if he is a billionaire
With all due respect crabby he has clearly stated he once finished will be moving onto a new venture.
I doubt he will move on at current prices but once the deal is done i doubt he will be sticking around and speculatively he may even depart before sale is completed but offer price is public knowledge ie share price flies.
DS isn’t going anywhere. He hasn’t plugged at this for 10 years to sell out cheap and move on to another venture. Don’t believe the dross on here, if he was out it would have been RNS’d
DS has a controlling share of Deloan that hold 10%, he's by far the biggest shareholder.
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't DS the single biggest shareholder in EUA?
Someone here previously calculated that at £2.16 per share he would leave as a billionaire.
Hold that thought.
Why would he sell at these prices if he knows deal on table.
Gecko could you confirm if he can sell once the sale has been agreed or not? I guess he would not be able to if suspension was an option as again would be done so on insider trading? However perhaps simply selling once deal is on table and not waiting for finalisation is an option/reason for the move?
DS's investment company owns 10% also.
Fair points guys - thanks for correcting me.
A senior moment of stupidity!

Dmitry owns almost 17% of shares in Eurasia and whither he is a director or not will be doing his all to maximise the return on those shares for the company, himself and us.
The buyers will want continuity and an operator who knows business back to front. James fits that bill admirably. Neither of the two of them would want to sell at these prices.
Richardo, as M&A manager, he certainly cannot sell even 1 share
I may have missed similiar posts but could this dip be due to Dmitry Suschov off loading some of his vast quantity of shares?
If I was him I would, especially if I wanted to fund my new venture. In fact I did just that in the past.
He is no longer a Director (Confirmed as of the 18th September Companies House) so no need to declare until he has finished...
Just a thoguht.

nice buys
Is it worth considering ds may be expecting another suspension whilst the deal goes through? Please dont shoot me down he not a deramp simply thinking if he is making moves to get out perhaps its because of this.

totally agree great post .
It is interesting how different people read the same information and form significantly differing opinions.
I can only assume earache is not fully versed on this whole situation with EUA and has not been here over the past 18 months or more, if he / she had then there is no way they would form the opinion they have.
DS has been a driving force here and significant SH, for may people he 'is' EUA, however we are also very clear on what the plans here have been for him, sell as part of a great deal and move on to pastures new, that does not come as a surprise to any LTHs here.
The suggestion that he has been moved aside to allow the more experienced to take over, or has somehow been demoted to a less significant role is ludicrous, I believe the move has been done to enable him to move on more quickly once the deal has concluded, he was never going to be a part of it like JN was.
IMO this change was more to do with DS releasing responsibilities before the inevitable acquisition and to make the transition simpler and cleaner, it's just 'ducks lining up', a bit of 'people housekeeping' if you like, of course he can continue to help at the very highest level in concluding whatever deal is on the table and I am sure he will, if I had his share holding I would be right in there, but once done, he will be in a position to move on very quickly without any disruption and we already know he has delayed the other business he is involved with once.
No fear here, frustration of course, all prices are wobbling presently so I guess it is to be expected, people who invested here see there portfolios drop in all other areas and convert to cash to 'protect' themselves, I get it, but I won't sell a bean and if I get any more money together I will add to my already pretty large shareholding.

Has it been considered ds may simply want out once the offer price is released as he wants to move himself and his shares elsewhere, if he knows the offers or at least a rough guide he is likely very happy with his profit and having done the job looking to move on prior to sale being finalised?
Not definite there purely speculation any comments welcomed?
