That one seems to work
We shall see Gecko, many a bot fly has came, and many have now left with their little bot fly tail between their legs.
GLA
Long link no doubt, Grim, but cannot open. lol
Mac
somebody is bound to have a go, the direction of travel has been sign posted for some time but these bozos still think they can halt this train.
Gecko, that came from a legitimate source, interviewer only asked one question, 'how do you feel?' lol
GLA
Does anyone think we'll see the usual sunday night double act, or do we think it truly is all finally over for the regular sunday night ' Bot Fly Cabaret ' ? lol
GLA
Perhaps this is not their first time getting into trouble with shorting, just this time around the exchange has said enough is enough?
GLA
It would certainly explain things.
Anyone who has been here a while, can testify to what appeared to be constant and fairly well coordinated sentiment/short attacks. It was literally one made up doom story after another for some time to be honest, and it has all died off now as if by magic. When the stories didn't work, their last resort, which was highly evident, was to attempt to attack the positive fact posting board members.
I fell foul of what appeared to be quite aggressive attacks myself, at the time.
All hopefully behind us now.
GLA
I think we can all agree that any shorter who can't finance a badly executed short should never be allowed to do the trade in the 1st place.
If they lie and go for the short anyway it ought to be a criminal offence + personal guarantee to wipe them out.
The best part for me, and i bet many others, is since the stories of TW and JUB have appeared, and last week passed, all the bot fly noise has died right off.
Coincidence or not?
What you thinking GFD, JUB took their short position via IG?
GLA
No idea what the default procedures are DE, I believe it was Anders_uk, a position disclosing holder, who brought all of this to our attention.
He did provide a link about exchange rules etc a while back. The exchange will deal with it all, that's all we need to know to be honest, and i can imagine they'll do it as swiftly as possible from that meeting date.
GLA
Should be a interesting open, hopefully our rns drops, some varied prices seem to have been posted, what a range we have, anyone from 30p - £8 for complete sale, what it will be it will be, heres a hoping for a positive week, month, year and outcome
Mac,
OK see that, but the shorts were originally settled when they first opened the short by selling the borrowed shares, so this default won't include those I think, unless the default is related somehow? JUB buying shares to close the short and not being able to make the cash settlement?

;)
GLA
You'll note the need to use the exchanges default procedures for dealing with the entire thing, from that same article, and also the Aug 7th meeting date -
"This is to ensure that the unsettled transactions, which will be covered by the Exchange’s default procedures, are not separately settled."
GLA
"The Exchange suspended the membership of Jub Capital on July 17, 2020 pending clarification of the firm’s financial position."
GLA
It was the exchange who closed JUB down DE, they declared them a defaulter -
https://financefeeds.com/jub-capital-management-gets-declared-defaulter-london-stock-exchange/
GLA
Mac,
Not a challenge because I'm not certain, but I'm not sure I agree that the exchange is involved? Do you as a fact?
In an Exchange Trade if the seller can't settle then the Exchange (and its members) sort it out
In this situation JUB borrowed shares from brokers and then sold them, and provided the shares to the Exchange as settlement, so no problem with the Exchange
The problem is they can't afford to buy them back to return to the broker, so I'm querying if the Exchange is really involved?
i would say AMC could be a possibility but please reaserch properly
NPV just under 1 billion with 2018 drill results omitted shares in issue just under 1 billion with the likely hood off another raising of 500million to produce a revenue stream from other sources to stop further dilution from there
russian TEO delivery for december should give updated NPV and on to BFS
its been a bumpy road there with all the normal shenanigins
current sp 2.2p MCAP 20million
there are some NDAs in place as some one is looking at the figures, including the 2018 results that like i said we havent seen
i think 2.2p is a bargain from hear but i would say that i am invested
certainly worth a littel punt IMOP but please DYOR
GGP great
SOLG intersting
HZM nice
SAV deffinately worth a punt
MTR good for a nice spread of different mines, just need the board to sort there selves out
but again if your looking for 10 + baggers you got to exspect risk so i go back to AMC probably the only one that could possibly do it from todays SPS imop DYOR
as always sorry for the big D
ECR is probably the only one of them id invest in personally. I don't like the others and never even heard of the last one - will take a look today!
H8yly1973 - Yes me too, have cleaned up on both GGP and EUA in the space of a few months. Still hold both.
Now trying to find the next 10 baggers. Anyone got any ideas?
I prefer to stay away from the pharmas, I think they are in a bubble.
Crabby
You are correct, HL don’t lend shares.
Whew, I am with them also.
Graeme
Patience is the key here for many LTH's.......we are in a fantastic position and people will profit take as needs be but with every sell there will be a buyer.
I've been in invested in GGP since Nov 2017 - but have been rewarded well but I am still holding.......been holding EUA since Nov 19 and will hold as long as it takes.
Any Dips I just take advantage to buy more.......so just added to my already sizeable holding .
Ignore the noise, research the previous RNS's and interviews.
These two holdings have rewarded me financially more then i could ever dream of !!!
