Roger, how can you say someone knows something? This is a tight ship. Nothing has leaked so far and as someone who holds 2m shares, you should be bit more positive. I have no doubt you will regret selling those 450k shares at the price you did. All you have to do is look at the DEMAND for PGMs and what we have.
We had a seller today 500k x 4 or possibly 5 and MMs dropped us to take those cheap. EGM is 6 working days away and MMs will put pressure on weak hands as we get close. GLA
Roger, I think the price action is just the market being the market, not because anyone knows where the FSP is headed.
I actually hope the FSP is cancelled and we get into production. Our resources have increased so much, let's take full advantage.
But you have to understand that the partnership with Rosgea is a huge win for us. Huge. Not indicative of the FSP going south. If something like like is available, you grab it with both hands. The RNS was clear that this is concurrent with the FSP.
We’ll see Ginger. We’ll see. Hopefully you’re right and I’m wrong.
Some of you guys are not cut out for high stakes poker maybe down the dog & duck for a dabble but the Casino Royale ain't gonna be troubled thats for sure.
Thankfully this FSP is in the hands of the serious business players.
Or, more simply, the last placing was at 22p, too many are assuming there's another coming, market happy to go along with the theory as it suits their agenda too. So we have a self fulfilling prophecy. What's frustrating is that you can see the crash coming, but are strapped into your seat by the FSP/NDA, not knowing whether you're going to survive it or not. Some are choosing to cut and run, others still relying on hope. Despite my post, I'm in the latter group, nails indented on the dashboard!
Roger you like to talk some rubbish don't you
Sounds like you're a deramper now Roger.
"In short, I think DS has asked for too much and the main players that made non-binding offers have walked away one by one leaving us with nothing on the table".
If so, then surely it means DS thinks we can make a lot more money by going it alone. Although what's your evidence for this? Do you have any, beyond speculation?
"It it was the intention of the BOD all along to sell then why now at this late stage of the game invite a partner from out of the blue?"
Lots of explanations, one of which could well be that the buyer(s) demanded first-mover access to the entire region, which the Russian state was only too happy to provide once they were satisfied that they would develop and mine the whole lot (or that EUA would aim for a partial sale that has the same effect in terms of jobs and production).
Anyway, I see no evidence for the downbeat assumptions here. Your first comment - that this is games because something good is coming - is far more plausible. I also see no evidence for a 50p/70p sale. That would have been wrapped up months ago and there is just no way that the DS would accept that much given everything that is now on the table.
The partner has nothing to do with the FSP though, good business people don't just sit on their hands - they're always looking for the next opportunity even if the current one is still ongoing.
I understand your thinking but I think too many people assumed they'd just sit around waiting for the FSP to conclude like us PI's are doing!
If there was no one left at the table they'd have HAD to update the panel and us so that part at least can't be a reality as things stand.
Two scenarios here. Someone knows something good is coming and so there's all sorts of games to dump the sp as low as possible only for there to be a huge and sudden rise on a positive conclusion to the FSP. Or someone knows the FSP is in the ditch and is starting to dump shares on to the market. Just no way of knowing sadly.
Either way this is painful to watch. Either way there will not be a full sale for £3.50. People just have to realise that's for the birds. If we are lucky the FSP is still on track, albeit with a fairly major bit of stuttering, and we will get 50 - 70p. Personally I'm more downbeat and think we're heading for a JV announcement followed by the need for a major raise in funds. Owing to the vast amount of finning EUA would need to put in place to hold its end of the deal I think this will take time and cause significant delays to getting things going.
