Morning
Not sure what board some are reading on here perhaps tunnel vision or to quick to puff up the chest feathers without reading back through ,
This board is one of the few where a quality ambience exists with genuine investors sharing information & stories of life & potential generous box ticking for the future from returns on there hard earned investment whatever is in the pot , I saw nothing but kindness & camaraderie .
Many on here have dived aboard based on the lth information & crack shared on this board in the last 12 months & are very quick to dig the boot in or snipe when things don’t suit or the green eyed monster rears it’s sad head
Your choice ,your investment , your **** up if doesn’t work out or sell up & flap elsewhere
& if your a negative shorting Bot fly do us all a favour & walk the plank
Well said Tombi1 old son. Ginge...grow up mate. rattled, yep rattled by your lack of a clue. Twitter...what's twitter got to do with anything, don't even use it. Bored now, probably like everyone else reading this drivel. TTFN. Filtered.
I agree with you , but a lot on here , just presume a deal will happen,I’ve seen it before a looks done and dusted and very rosy , for all parties to drop out , I do agree it looks good that’s why I’m invested , but don’t throw the kitchen sink at it , and listen to people who have a different view we all can be blinkered at times I’ve learnt my lesson on that one from similar positions , there is a reason companies are on aim , but Please take into account if the scenario is no deal one . even the company has stated on numerous times there is no guarantee don’t be blinkered , only invest what you can afford to lose that’s all I say
Not necessarily, there’s a chance that they may receive offers even higher than the current mcap but that the BoD don’t believe are sufficient. The wording of an announcement in this case would increase the share price.
Literally the only thing we do know is that the BoD themselves believe MT is worth more than Kevista, which went for $700m, as DS had mentioned it very briefly last year / year before. Other than that there’s so many potential outcomes, all we can do is wait and see.
Tombi, people know the risks. The risks are there for any share. However the likelihood of a deal is much higher than no deal. Also the resources aren't just going to disappear so the value will always be there whether it be short term, medium or long term. The risk reward ratio here is very good, it's just about as good as you can get with the stock market. But of course people know shares are a risk, that why the rewards are better than 0.5 percent you get in an ISA which is almost risk free.
People do need to calm down , there is no guarantee a deal will be done ,and if the company comes out and says so then a 50% drop would be very likely short term , it s aim anything can happen , be prepared for the good and the bad , good luck all
Some scrapping in the playground this morning, I hope everybody gets what they want from this. A real range of situations people are in so I hope it doesn't disappoint .
Bore off Ginge. i don't think that, it's just a phrase mate. You carry on planning how to spend your fortune you ain't got. I'll sit tight and wait for the outcome. then I'll celebrate if it's favourable.
Whatever Judge, still comes across as being in bad taste and quite juvenile. It's just a saying, but thanks for your input.
Beauty of the internet is if you dont like something you can simply keep scrolling, one persons aspirations to buy a new car or help there son buy a house being im discussion in no way affects yourself. So if you dont like it scroll on by.
Agreed - tempting fate, what a ludicrous concept.
Oh and Franny you cant temp fate !! Its an intangible ! what you are doing with that statement is being superstitious !! Its ok though i have sacrificed a goat, turned around six times while saying the lords prayer and haven't changed my lucky pants for a month!!! Ive got your tempting fate covered and raise you a load of old tosh lmao
Always had a slight problem with that saying " count your chickens before they hatch" Fundamentally flawed logic. Its perfectly ok to count your chickens before they hatch !! that is actually nothing more than counting your eggs!! Even calculating best case hatching and growing to maturity inst necessarily a bad thing, that's just forward planning. The only problem arises when you neither spend the revenue from your un hatched chickens or emotionally invest in a future outcome. Daydreaming is why we are here !! No amount of counting unhatched chickens is going to change the sale outcome so why now be realistically optimistic while we wait instead of a dour doom and gloom old f4rt ?? :) Good luck all im gonna be knee deep in chicken **** dunno bout you :)
Morning Ian
Yes exactly, most of us invest in order to increase our personal wealth, that’s the theory anyway, so if people have the chance to dream and dream out loud on a bb then that’s fine by me, let’s hope we get to treasure island soon
Gal
Absolutely agree. Wot a load of nonsense people are talking ...it’s ridiculous.
Massively unnerving. Whether you are intending to help family or hoping to buy a Masseratti, it is tempting fate. Personally don't like it at all, especially the ones saying how much money they are gonna spend on themselves. Sadly typical of society today. AIMHO.
Most have stated they wish to help out family and friends worse off than themselves and one poster has said he will treat himself to a second-hand car, doesn't seem like bragging to me!
Have a good day..
Me too. Lets wait for news first!!!
Nope, I thought it was really nice to read. Good luck to all holders
Not sure there have been that many posts about cars - most people seem to be wanting to help out their families if they do well out of this. Seems quite nice to me.
Yep, feel exactly the same.
Is it just me or does anyone else feel very uneasy about reading the posts about millionaires and cars...........
