Let’s just be patient it’ll come to fruition
Oh I see, they must be very confident of it coming in then. Well the new holders anyway the LTH are probably quite happy to sit it out!
I think people buy in hoping for a counter offer from this point, which based on only 17% backing the bid may happen yet
The rns states a 115p recommendation but the sp is at 117p, that's unusual isn't it?
It's just an example of what the sp will do on deal announcement. Not really much point in trying to disect anything more than that, they're a different company in a different position.
The sp will go to around the deal level, that's all.

Heart will sink Ferg it’ll be a lottery win hopefully
Reading their chat too, they're hoping for a counter-offer. Apparently only 17% of shareholders are backing this bid so who knows which way that'll all go! Wonder how they have live access to the voting poll maybe that's normal not really something I've got as far as thinking about!
JJPK is right if you look at the monumental drop from covid this year, big ouch.
Back to us can you imagine the day you click the red dot and read:
RNS Recommended Cash Offer
Interesting, it's a another example of what the sp will probably do on deal announcement. Their percentage jump is quite lower than the 160% of the last example we saw. Neither have been PGM & gold miners, with significant copper and nickel though. But, it does show that deals are very much being done in the present climate. I hope the shareholders there got what they were after.

I loved this post from Ian_ yesterday, from a former poster on here, Snowman, I think hes spot on 50 million ounces..i think this is what AP have proved up and is sat in the data room for all prospective buyers..
A post from the past, 1/12/2019, where we were having a guess the buyout price game when the stock was only valued at 2.65p!A reply post from Snowman, in relation to my post with guesses to my three valuations, everyone was having a go!

"Ian...
Optimistic 78p
Realistic 48p
Pessimistic 28p"
If you don't mind me saying Ian........you have it slightly wrong there LoL.
78p isn't optimistic, optimistic is 5% of 100 Billion dollars in-ground value reached in an all-out bidding war between Russia and China.
Cherakov (EUA strategic Advisor) hinted at 50 million ounces in his interview with Proactive.
50 million ounces at $1840.00 per Troy Oz easily reaches upwards of 100 Billion dollars if all the other metals are added in.
Look at the longer chart for MCS. Their offer is terrible for anyone in it long term.
I do find it interesting that the sp is over the offer price and staying there at MCS.
Can i just say even if you do compare 38.6% raise on my investment thats already made a good rise i certainly wont be sleeping badly! Sure the pie in sky dream figure would be nicer but another 40% increase would make me a lot of money.
I don’t think this is a comparison. If EUA were to carry on and mine their sites themselves the SP would go up in increments and in time it would become significant. The parties interested are purchasing that growth early and at a discount. GLA
That cash offer was 38.6% above the SP which would put EUA at an offer of 41p in the same situation. I hope the businesses are very different and there is a good reason for MCS selling for only a little above the SP. There's a lot of investors here with higher expectations than a 38% rise from here.
This morning MCS got a cash bid for its business at 115p and the shares jumped past that figure.
