Ethio: Thanks for that GDR response, fair points that you raise. Cheers.
Avacta has an RNS out today about its ‘non-existent’ test, confirming that it picks up all variants.
Filtered.
NCYT still got plenty of way to go if you are patient. That share made myself and others a lot last year. Cheapest I got in was 89p but I remember when it was in the 30’s and I ignored it.when the sale completes here I’ll go back in it.
All depends how you look at shares really Ethio.
GDR has been something of a basket case although there’s money to be made if you trade in and out. Long term value is tricky to find in aim. Agree David is a bit of a fly by night, Alastair at avacta comes across well, but you need the patience of a saint to see his prospects through to fruition. Ncyt has seen its big time and odx is very unpredictable.
Here though we will be rewarded, and hopefully VERY soon.
Alastair Smith
1.Ncyt was never a penny
2. Which director ramps Avacta ?
3. Do you actually know what Avacta do ?
1 - wrong - In Jan 2020 it was. I got on NCYT at 1.07. Sold too early 4.90. I think AndersUK was on it too
2. Which director ramps Avacta ? ------- Alastair Smith. May be you want to look at his twitter account, history. He sold shares. Rampy RNS after rampy RNS and nothing!
3. Do you actually know what Avacta do ? - yes, they promised to have the 1st 10min saliva LFT test. A saliva LFT test would be huge as it can be used by kids at school etc. But do you hear them talk about saliva test nowadays? No. They failed to pull it off. They're now taking about swab LFT and there's lots of them out there. AVCTA have Affimer but i invested for the covid test not the affimer tech.
i was in odx 40p and sold 107. i was in gdr 81p and sold at 2.25. i was in avct as well as brh. All of them are rubbish. NCYT was the best PCR test on market and may still be. Well done to ncyt. The rest are all cr@p! DYOR!
DMcG54
I don't!
The BC collaboration was first for a saliva test. Saliva test is the holy grail of covid test. NO ONE has managed to pull that off incl AVCT and they've worked on it for ages. Having started out as a saliva test, they've now stopped talking about it without even having the decency to inform shareholders. They're now talking about swab. Why would anyone buy a swab PCT test when they can buy a swab LFT???
David Budd is a joke mate. He took £8m in placing and has not spent 1p on Covid project. In 1 year, he has employed 1 person and that was a 3 month temp :) If you look deep enough, you'll find that a big investor at GDR has big investment in Beckman too. Go and check the RNS where they said they applied for ICMR, WHO and FDA in June 2020. Why no approval??? I have no idea if they do well from here but looking at history, they're rubbish. Yes, they have money in the bank, because they spent nothing of the £8m from placing. DYOR
EthioEthio.
Stop talking utter ****e.
3 things
1.Ncyt was never a penny
2. Which director ramps Avacta ?
3. Do you actually know what Avacta do ?
Oh and the 4th
You made money on them all . LOL
Ethio: Do you not think with GDR that the Beckman Coulter US angle is looking promising?
Shardster
There is only 1 covid test company that has assisted with the pandemic and that is NCYT. There rest are all crooooks which keep promising but have not delievered fk all.
GDR, a company that has a covid PCR test which was all completed in May 2020, and has failed to get any of the 4 approvals it has applied for, fda, icmr, WHO, etc. Not sold 1 bloody test in a pandemic. :) avoid.
ODX, a company that has 5 tests PCR, antibody, antigen, LFT etc and none have received approvals or sold. all cr@p. They applied for MHRA approval back in June. avoid.
BRH, run by a self serving director, who's been voted out of RMS.
AVCT, a director who ramps more than the LTHs on their BB, they've failed to deliver a test since last Feb 2020. avoid.
I would avoid the covid plays. I was lucky to make money from all of them thanks to the hype but but the're all a joke. Apart from NCYT which actually delivered and assisted the world with the pandemic. NCYT test was used all over the world and they sold millions. Went from less than a penny to £11. Sold too early there :(
All the smart money will be remaining in COVID testing shares......with school, uni’s and later on in the year leisure facilities, testing will be of paramount importance
My only other share in my PF is Avacta and that not just covid.
Was hoping to put my EUA gains straight but looks like I will miss the next push.
Apologies for the x ramp but Avacta will in my mind be a better share than EUA. Long term
Anyone putting money into Covid shares tomorrow?
Could be a great week for Gov contracts to be announced.
