Yeah but its that first offer that i wanna see :) They can dilly dally all they like after that. If you ever sold anything at auction its all very relaxing and fun when a couple of folks get into it AFTER the bid has passed reserve. That where i want to be! Offer above £1 and counter offers and spoilers and consortium offers and whatever!! thats the fun stuff and can take as long as it likes lol just fire in that that triple F ! " first, firm & financed" offer please so i can reduce my heart meds ! ha ha
judge-m, quite possibly but again a bidding war is not going to be sorted overnight either not for a final best offer, 6-8 weeks still?
horse.mouth :- The m&a isnt going to be done in a day it will take time and Dimitry in charge was probably a condition of sale !! The deal could be announced today easily and the the work really begins and possibly bidding war !!! So you would need someone in charge ready for that wouldn't you ??
Fwiw i think a deal has been done! However certain key elements have been left " un finalized in order for all the ducks to be lined up, personnel re assigned and kinks to be ironed out. These unfinished " details" can be sorted in short order as soon as they need to be and of course at that point an RNS is mandatory.Which is why they have been left " pending" . Very very soon now. Any number with a £ sign works for me. gla
Londonnt. i personally like it highly unlikely that we will get news of any possible sale in the near future especially given that Dmitry has only just bean made M&A man. surely a time frame of 6 to 8 weeks minimum? anyone else think that?
Forget months! Time for sale news imo. This is 11 months in the making.
£1+.
Could be any day.
Indeed! we’ll come online in the coming months to find out investment has increased somewhere between 3-5 Fold is what I hope, but could be more who knows
Headancer, I’m with you on the closeness. You can almost smell it. DS has his new role so he can add this sale to his list and James is ready to stay on for the handover/ transition as he has all the due dilly from his lesego days. All fits. Just one last piece to come. Rns
I think my prognosis has been somewhat twisted.
I'm basically saying that rather than a new company team coming in and sweeping everyone aside the nucleus of the same team is now in place to take this forward.
I think this deal is so close you can almost touch it.
We know the negotiations have been going on for a few months before there was the notorious tweet.
I reckon 9- 12 months already.
We now have the flanks licence sorted a week or two back.
We now have the management team sorted in terms of transition.
We'ver also had UBS squaring off books.
Not sure there will be much left to do personally.
I think we are almost there.
dancingfred, I would be happy with 100p but I hope for at least 150-200p taking into account all new information from AGM
CS has many interests at the moment and is sharing his time between several companies. J N has taken the lead to become focussed on the sale. He was Ceo of lesego and therefore is ideally placed to bring continuity for the new owners . CS has answered all the due diligence and is now happy to stand aside. I expect a sale very soon. Starting price will be 28p our recent high so that no one misses out. I hope for a price between 50 and 100p. Most would be pleased with this. Until the sale lands it’s all guess work, just hold and reap the benefits.
Been involved in two major sales.
In both cases key management transitioned across for 18 months. The purchasing companies wanted the current management to move with the company. This smoothed
the sale and gave continuity.
In both cases there was no JV, it was outright an outright sale.
The RNS could not be clearer.
