For a sailing boat she seems to be generating a head of steam or are you just warming up the rum?
RMR1969 - no I think we’re well passed that, sorry my last might not read right. I was saying a date would have been set for offers from the multiple interested parties as there needs to be some structure and timeline. I was talking past tense.
I agree with you I think the legal teams are working through the fine details, sale price has been agreed and buyers finances vetted to ensure their offer is viable. Like if you’re selling your house and have multiple offers, you don’t always go with the highest if they’re in a chain with a mortgage, as the next offer down might be a cash buyer ready to go.
News incoming
possibly the very very last chance to top up in the 20's.
Is she going to move up to 30s...? Looking good.
EXPECT : another rns this hour 8.5.
In comparison to other stocks in the sector, EUA is holding firm.
Let the market do what it does. Hold your golden tickets. MEGA offer, i feel it coming ....
Hi Crabby08 - do you really think that we are in the 'offers being made' stage more than 17 weeks after the FSP was started, I am not so sure, I reckon the time frame for offers has been passed, especially since we were informed about DLA Piper being appointed.
I rather think we are in the 'agreed price in principle' stage, some dotting of i's and crossing of t's to be done before we announce, mostly for the buying company to ensure their finances are in order and agree fees I suspect.
I just don't think the Board would have set a timeline this long initially.
Now, as I think about it, there is a possible situation where you could be right and it isn't a mad theory - if an initial offer period was set however due to multiple bidders constantly gazumping one another it was extended and DLA Piper were brought in to support UBS manage the whole situation..........
Wouldn't that be amazing, absolutely feasible, but maybe wishful thinking.
I have my one and only 'guess the RNS date' for tomorrow, could be pre opening or more likely post close, and I set a cautious price of 65p.

I’m Not sure about the 4 week cycle at this point Peter to be honest, if the deal is completed all stakeholders will want paying, they won’t necessarily be ruled by certain timescale.
However I do believe a deadline will have been set for offers to be made, and completion timescale so everyone has a date to aim for.
Also EUA haven’t been trying to sell themselves. They were approached 12 months ago and have always been in the driving seat in my view.
Not to jump down your throat I could be wrong, just my opinion
Good luck everybody, all a bit doom and gloom in the markets but here is like a safe haven almost knowing it doesn't matter to the gamble we've all placed. Nornickel put results out a couple of days ago, no real clues but Palladium production was up, obviously by design and their new plant more efficient.
Have we hit some favourable movement
Impatient PIs, please understand:
They won't be able to tell us anything until they're ready to tell us everything.
This is now 16 weeks trying to sell this baby, surely bod must have something concrete to tell share holders , if nothing this week we will enter another 4 week cycle
stop panicking and stop selling - others are buying it up
Its easy pickings for MMs - they will take the same shares they sold you for 30+ last week, back off you for mid twenties - why take a loss? ii's are loading up as are other retail investors, what does that tell you?
If you invested here, surely you done some research? Its a complex deal, takes time - the RNS from interim reports was very clear (UBC, DLA Piper, no win/no fee basis etc.) - those are big names working on our behalf, highly doubt they would work on this deal without doing research on size and likelihood of a sale - think about it.
But, ii's are increasing their positions as this goes on -

The weak bail, ii's and the savvy accumulate ready for the big deal news dropping.
