Unhappy snot I'm not really interested what you really think or say. Please don't trouble me again as you will be wasting my time and yours , end of.
Index weighting is adjusted quarterly. What's happening is that more people are buying into the index tracker funds (because the market is rising) and so the funds are automatically buying more shares in index components. Blackrock's holding has precisely nothing to do with EUA specifically.
Agreed CAW1, an update is due IMO.
I do take some comfort however that the Takeover Panel must be reasonably happy and comfortable with what is happening to have not moved in. Previously people here have suggested that the Panel forced earlier updates, I am not sure that is true.
All that said, what with the time elapsed since the last update in January, the EGM, the request for investors to vote in favour of the Resolution and the subsequent passing of that Resolution, all makes me feel like we are owed something very soon.
The Takeover Panel has of yet apparently stayed away so maybe a date for some form of announcement has already been set, we just don't know it yet? They have had 2 weeks already to utilise the shareholder support demonstrated, so within the next 2 weeks is my guess.
RNS - update on FSP in January
'Progress to date has been slower than expected reflecting the complexity of the process, involving several parties and structures, as well as external factors including COVID-19 related travel restrictions, and more recently delays resulting from western and Russian holiday periods. Notwithstanding these factors, discussions regarding proceeding to binding proposals are continuing. Until a transaction is finally concluded there can be no certainty that a transaction will occur or on what terms.'
Must be due atleast an update - nearly 5 months now.

IMO Blackrock are the reason we are where we are. When they decide enough is enough and retrieve all their lent out shares we will move.
19 trading days left until the AGM has to be announced at the latest.
WK flanks licence still under consideration, Rosendra website updated today but no change.

Our Market Cap has also decreased (fairly significantly) yet these funds keep buying.
If these funds were buying in EUA as they attract more finance they must presumably be purchasing other stock in far larger scale to keep the tracker balanced. Otherwise you would have expected them to divest as we have reduced our market capacity.
Either that or not all Blackrock funds are managed by algorithm and someone somewhere thinks we are worth backing (albeit with client's money).
CTC all I do know for certain is that Blackrock and their clients are not here to make a loss and I'm sure that EUA would have been scrutinised severely before any investment decisions were made. As anyone would have done if they had any investment acumen, I'm sure that you have done due diligence before you invested, well I would have expected that you have if indeed that you are invested.
Transfer of shares? Not buying or selling. Who do they Transfer shares to?
That's is correct ctc. As long as it's in the relevant index and sometimes above a certain mcap, BR buy regardless. They do not have a view on tracker fund positions. They get the management fee, the investor takes the risk.
CTC I think that Blackrock would have done due diligence before getting into this share and I'm sure that they keep their eye on the ball. They aren't stupid or they wouldn't be the biggest fund in the world, but yes you are correct that they are a tracker fund and yes they will have an automated tracking system. But they would definitely have had a view on the prospects of EUA or they would not have invested in the first place.
With over 38 million now Blackrock and their clients are not stopping buying, they must think that there is a real possibility of a deal or they wouldn't be holding that amount of stock would they?
