Kopf, I will sell 80% and leave the rest in there until the deal is officially concluded, I'm hoping it will all be wrapped up by the summer but you never know.
with a buy ratio 1.67:1 - for the best part of the day..................
Who’s up for a 28 ut trade to end today’s low volume lacklustre session
I would have thought almost everyone will sell if a good offer is announced. It has taken so long to get here there's no way I would wait before selling just in case a larger counter bid comes in.
The closing will take a while chriszzr if it's a mid sized deal as we all expect it to be -
"The average time to finalize a merger or acquisition has risen to 38 days after it has been announced — 31% longer than in 2010, according to Gartner, Inc. Closing dates have grown even longer for midsize deals ($500 million to $5 billion) and large deals (more than $25 billion), which take an average of 106 and 279 days to close, respectively."

Obviously that's an average time quoted, so it may take less time than that.

And presumably the sp would rise to within approx 5% of the offer price straight away to give shareholders the option to sell into the market if desired
Can a couple of shipmates have a word with Septic Lil ,
She’s dancing around the deck without her medieval bra on & it looks like a couple of sea otters scraping in a bag
It’s distracting the shipmates rowing action .
Roll out the finest Grog
As with anything Rattie anythings possible as nobody on here has a clue at that level of detail what's going on.
I would guess however CGT wouldn't have been thought about when the FSP was initiated.
Probably take more then a couple of weeks, voting would be needed then all the other bits that complete with finalising M&A, maybe a couple of months.
The most important part is the binding offer is announced to vote on(not that our vote will make much difference as the BoD will have majority shares and ultimate say)
If a full sale is announced will there not be a couple of weeks delay before the deal is settled for a shareholder vote?
Deal could be announced shortly but sale proceeds not distributed until after April 5th so pushing any gain into next tax year
Tommy ,
It’s just a positive saying predicting a rare & biblical event , & not stagnant over the month we’ve just done 30% north in 3 weeks , not bad if you bought in at 21.8 .
Rums all Round
JT & all
She’s dryer than an Arizona creek & absolutely scratching for trades
Cheers mate
Might have been posted before, cos I only look occasionally but is it possible the BOD are looking to pay their CGT in January 2023.? The new financial year is only a few weeks away, so boys and girls ,we might have another year before paying for our ill gotten gains!!

I see no panic selling only confident buying ,
The volume is very low & any large trade either way will move the stock price ,
A 300k sell slipped through & pulled us back ,
However ,
The astute are buying - fact
Phil Taylor has added 3 times in a week
ii have added every month for 6 months
We are nibbling at the veles entry price
Today is pure market mechanics on low volume .
FSP simmering in the shadows .
Any time , any day , any week an RNS with a biblical conclusion could land
If your not on deck then your tossed overboard & miss out - simple
Massive Rums all Round
We were dropped 5 % then in a flash & there’s the culprit
Delayed sell kipper

We’ve had Bot flies on deck
We’ve even had Septic Lil wandering on deck wearing nothing but a seaweed thong & a lather of goose fat .
Now its time for Piper to get the Biblical cheque signed & deliver the Kings Ransom
Roll out the finest throat massager
Agreed Ethio
Volume isn't great today 4m. If MM let this run up to 29 -30 region, the buyers will come back in force.
NN are having huge problems and they have a meeting tomorrow. PGM supply is short as it is and with NN having lots of issues, supply is going to be hit big time. Lots of demand v Little supply = premium for PGMs and that's all good for EUA with production ongoing at WK. You have to say, the delay has been good for EUA :) GLA
Jarrovian
Afternoon mate , Septics jumped on an oar with her Popeye forearms & shovel hands we will soon row to blue ,
