Showing you that the money is going to green tech is not being attacked, but good luck with your viewpoint on such matters.
Lets just keep the board eurasia related shall we?

Well it seems to be working in Germany perfectly fine laz -

The change is going to happen, that's where all the money is going.

The older ladies and gents will remember leaded petrol.
GLA
CO2 is what they throw around, it is nitrous oxides that they want to lower first, they come from diesels, hence why diesels are being aimed at more aggressively compared to petrol.
Diesels will go first, it will be similar to how leaded petrols vanished years ago when they were classed as the worst problem at the time. AIMHO

Waste to power was useless. The money earned 'disposing' of the waste was what makes them economical, that's wwhyy we ship our trash to Europe, so they can incinerate it.
Syngas is gasification, they heat but don't burn thee waste, turn it into gas, clean it then either sell it into the gas network, burn it in a jet enjinee which turns aa generator andd all the waste heat is recovered then sold to cities to heat homes.
Traditional waste to energy IRR is 10%, similar to wind energy
https://ideas.repec.org/a/eee/rensus/v55y2016icp115-130.html
EQT IRR is more than double that.
So 10 plants costing £40m each at an IRR of 25% =
£2.5Billion profit over 25 years.
So if this were Eua, a £400m capex earns £12.5Billion (500koz per year @ 50% profit = £500m perr year)
So based on this calculation of fundimentals, EQT should be worth 1/5 the value of EUA
If eua sells for £2B (70p) EQT fair value should be £400million. They are worth £30million.
That is based on 10 power plants. How many could they produce? 20? 50?
Even in the U.S support is growing all the time. But even without them, china and the E.U change then that's that tbh -

U.S can claim what they want, the rest of the world is moving to green either way, E.U is going to throw this at it -
" The European Green Deal is one of its most ambitious plans to mobilize at least €1 trillion in public-private investments over the next decade. "

Lazarus you got a mind of your own or just follow daddy.
This board has been overrun with clowns the last couple of days.
Laz you have stereotyped eqt as being part of the carbon emission carbon cap CO2 All Gore movement.
EQT are an electrical power plant manufacturer which when burning refuse derived fuel get paid to take the refuse from local councils then produce electricity. IRR for outside investment for each project is 12% (better returns than wind and solar) but for eqt who own the patents and IP rights for the most efficient syngas process on the market, the IRR is north of 20%, near or past 25% I think. They have the right to a 25% equity stake in each plant they design, build then help maintain with 25year plant life.
Let me spell it out. Lowest peer market cap. Most efficient process available. Longest run hours at 110k hours for a working unit in Spain. IRR ~25%.
EU green deal grant money.
Huge rise in electricity demand forecast for the future
Are you thinking about the same technology or company as I am?
Let’s see whose having all the fun next week....bring in the news
That's nice your dad has gotten you interested. I asked my 2 teens if they wanted to invest their birthday and Xmas money in EUA in Dec. They trust me and so they each got 10.5k of golden tickets at a 3.33p average. So for that £350 I can now tell them that it's worth £1785 as of today. Again they trust me to wait for the sale. I hope they learn something from my past mistakes but, ah, you've gotta let them go their own way. Hopefully with a bit of cash in their hip pocket. 8-)
It's not bigly, it's huuuuge, the bestest ever.
Laz can you ask your dad to have a look at eqt? Green sector, massive £10m raise just happened so well funded. Market cap £28m which dwarfs its peers vls, itm and phe
The dog. I remember months ago your pops talking about him drinking pints in the pub (again not your dad). I've not really spoken to his various alter egos (your dad) but his dog story sticks out. I like the Lazarus name, now was he the blind one or the one who rose from the dead?

SXX was a steep learning curve and thankfully I didn't lose anywhere near a fortune. Definitely agree with your Dads thought process on only engaging with discounted SP's with next to nothing priced in.
I'm a quiet EAU'er ....been here for a while, with a decent holding, bought low, thanks to the generous spirits on this board, who shared their quality thoughts.
In 2019 UBS did 42 M&A deals totalling $82Billion.....they don't work for pocket change.
Have a great weekend folks!
He is a boring old duffer, lol. How is Jake?
Cheers Lazarus....appreciate your response
What’s your target price for EUA as per your dads advice...
I was one of those SXX PI's. Took what was left of the SXX investment and put it in here. Losses more than recovered. The SXX disaster was a real blessing in disguise.
Moose - Good idea! - Matt007 is also a relieved Bristol resident if you should see him posting
Another bristol resident, but originally from further SW.
If its running again soon and keeping on a nautical theme could always take a trip on the boat to Beezes!
Moose
Alfe - yes it was late 7s - There are a few Bristolians here with a party being planned - I suggested the Volley to continue the nautical theme?
hello fellow Bristol resident.
nope, we weren't. I'm quite sure because I just looked at disbelief when it went up from 3p onwards and topped up along the way. IIRC, the closing price on day prior was higher than the final suspension price.
That's great to hear Fred! I'm really pleased to hear that you are recouping your losses! I only got in here yesterday, need to see the sp get to just over 80p to recoup all of my previous losses, it's starting to look more and more likely that 80p might turn out to be conservative once the bidding war is over!
