That 750 million Minimum was just for MT. whole company can be the 2.2b minimum I keep hearing.
Now I do remember someone mentioning that DS was looking at 750 million minimum. Just for him to start thinking about it let alone shake hands deal done.
I hope your all right I’ve 25k in I’m 60 down winner winner for me , I’m just playing devils advocate but something doesn’t add up but hopefully it’s on the plus side not the downside ,
not everything that doesn’t add up is a bad thing !!
I understand your thinking, but how do the BOD/whoever is in charge have the ability to suspend share dealing on the basis that the company might become too valuable to sell on any current deal without needing to provide notice to that effect?
Think the Directors have set a price way higher than 200 to 400 mil for a sale. Doubt they would even look at that sort of offer.
The valuation report puts it a lot higher, more like £1.5b to £2.2b. Could be more given the price for palladium forecast to rise so to me that will be a minimum. I don’t think it’ll be as low as £0.5b
I company sold purely for what it is currently worth, has nothing to offer in the future. Doesn't sound like EUA to me
I’m starting to think the deals in the region of the current market cap possibly 300-400 mill
Doubt it
I’m starting to think the deals in the region of the current market cap possibly 300-400 mill. And this whole thing has been orchestrated to halt the share price where because if this deal has been ongoing since before Xmas the market cap value then would have been the starting point to multiply on , however as the rise took all by surprise if that deal was for 200/300/400 million say it now doesn’t look as attractive but given that most involved will be at least doubling probably trebling of in some cases massively multi bagging the board may well still want to sell on given the length of time they’ve been in this company they’d all walk away with a sense of success ??? And they know that all shareholders have made at least some money
Me personally I’ve had **** luck in aim I’m down so I’d really like to see the dream buyout but I’m struggling to see why they’d chuck a bigger chunk of money over than they’d really have too !!
Here’s hoping though :)
Just an update RNS would be nice. Stating if they just doing a single asset sale or two or they think the time is right and they selling the whole company.
What if they waiting for flanks official approval still? And when they get that they have too do due diligence to get a offer? Could be suspended until summer.
I remember that. It was by share talk but some people say it never happened. Then we had to say talks ongoing but no engagement letter in rns. Then we appointed the unpronounceable ceo from lesogo on our board. I remember when denial rns hit lse went down and difficult to gauge. Same happened with recent rns so I was very glad shares were suspended at time. TW all over us but Zak can't seem to make up his mind.
Imagine if after this long wait we just get another vague one line RNS .. I dont mind waiting I just hope we get some detail
Playing devils advocate I can see the reports point in brief there’s negatives in all types of companies like Eurasia normally jurisdictions etc
So if I read that report only I’d be putting my money in my savings account
However !!
I can’t for the life of me see why a company regardless of its 200 million market cap can in some people’s minds vanish / go under / stop trading etc etc
The company has no debt has a product that others need has people willing to lend it money to realise its ambitions and has options ! So why would that company decide to just wake up on a Tuesday morning and says “ that’s it I’ve had enough I’m done “
There must be a deal going on it’s the only sensible conclusion I’ve come up with !!
I’m following the account he originally tweeted “ that tweet” ha
I think he’s either not the intelligent businessman people think he is or he’s very much the intelligent businessman people think he is !!!
I’m going with the latter ;)
Indeed. Maybe LSE just had enough of the out of hours trades, MMs etc and just said no stop loading up your friends. If a deal is more or less done and being discussed by those in the know it's time everybody knew.
And then you have the idea shorters have stopped SP rising to it's natural level so instead the co might have felt it wise to kill the trades so that multiples of SP is not part of discussions - fundamentals and ACF style valuation is. David B suggest this on twitter and think I said it on the day it would be an opportune moment to suspend.
I totally agree with this , here we have a 200 million company that’s now been halted from trading because of a tweet suggesting some sort of behind the scene deal and the tweeter is still tweeting about the company he’s apparently stopped trading !!!
To me that tweet was orchestrated to allow a suspension without the pressure of day to day trading price fluctuation etc
We ain’t dealing in sweets here this is serious money with serious players !
Ive thught for a while they would possibly be planning to do flanks and deal in one RNS as may be conjoined anyway. Maybe not quite ready.
I feel a suspension for this long would not be just down to an announcement about the flanks? A simply out of trading hours would suffice!

here for folks I happened to already have it open.
You are right Hopper it was written 2 weeks ago and the message thread is excellent. Much better than trawling through 3000 posts on here. He comes across a lot better in the messages but 2 weeks ago he was right to be more cautious I guess.
He says last time we suspended was for WK getting licence and opening, so everyone had equal info after a price rise. So he thinks could be similar here with flanks licence.
I agree Pl
Even the Proactive article today talks of a JV with a Chinese firm could be on the cards, have they heard something we haven't... Who knows
Signs are pointing to a more positive outcome although I do always tend to be sceptical (prepare for the worst and all that) there are minor indications that things will be fine
The fact Hammond is still Tweeting speaks volumes as he would have had his account frozen if the tweet was fraudulent
Sit back and let this pan out and enjoy your weekend chaps
So are you following his private twitter or he have another account?
Yes I read that didn't seem a very credible article but he started off saying wouldn't touch it then pu the bullish case and left it fifty fifty.
Has been a bit around today to suggest maybe he and EUA are giving us all the signals they can to be positive without overstepping the mark (again in Hammonds's case)
