Chaps, any more news or thoughts on this one??
rivaldo - I hope you are right but today's 4-5% drop in the sp is not very encouraging.
We can read today's RNS as encouraging, since if anything was awry for the full year then ETO would have had to say so. We can imply that the nicely in line trading talked about in the 9 month update on 2nd March has continued into the year end: Http://www.investegate.co.uk/entertainment-one/rns/notice-of-results/201604290700127479W/
No one in particular but has been so undervalued, seems now this is being realised maybe some VC may be looking it over as well??
Going,going....
Another bidder ? Who have you in mind ?
+£2.50 is very possible especially if itv flush out another bidder.....
Definitely not priced in I would expect any succesful bid to be al least £2.20+ IMHO
this will be bought out for £2.50/£3.00 according too reputable sources. just requires a little paitence
Looks a perfect fit for itv, who have not denied an interest. If they were to bid, what premium do you think they would offer, or is it already priced in ?
UBS ran rule over takeover of ETO and said a full buyout would increase ITV's production revenues to 44% from 28% last year.
Bid coming......
There was an increase in the SP last Wednesday, the day before ETO denied any approach. RNS tomorrow or is something else happening behind the scenes??
Canaccord Genuity reiterates £2.25 target
The very fact that no denial statement has been issued tells the experienced investor all they need to know. Having been involved in two other previous take over offers it is a case of sitting back now and waiting for further news on the offer price, these things take time but at this price ETO was always going to be a target, particularly in view of its recent successes. Also on the front page of the Financial Times http://www.ft.com/home/uk
Is it not odd that ITV have not issued a statement or RNS also denying the rumours? After all, it affects them as much as ETO.
I don't believe any offer will be successful much less than £3 IMHO. Lots of potential here for suitors.
-11.24% spread
No approach has been received by eOne - YET! Will ITV make an announcement? Surely, any bid would have to be at least 220, probably in the 240s to be successful. Whichever, there has been previous interest in ETO so could well bring out more approaches and an bidding war IMHO.
No smoke without fire, ITV can obviously see how undervalued ETO is IMHO
Comment on Press Speculation Entertainment One notes the press speculation regarding a potential offer. No approach has been received by eOne.

Interesting speculation in the news, time to top up I think.
