Yep, a few more for me too. Keep the faith.
Good post Greentec, both thoughtful and calm I have also topped up today. gla.
Oh gees! Isalinge - Im not sure what to say. Im sure you will be back soon. All the best irrespective of some of the things you have posted here.
As for this share peeps. I have just topped up.
I respect your view testpack3 but i disagree with your analysis. I think palumbo has been clear and has a strong direction. We all look at a day like this and its easy to fall into a negative frame of mind. I dont fear corrections or crashes as i have studied all the crashes since 1929 and seen people who have stuck money in good stock and they haven't gone bankrupt have always come out the other side much financially better due to the compounding nature.
The green economy both from UK Government and Opposition party is strong part of their post pandemic recovery and future economical direction. I think palumbo didnt announce for two reasons 1) as they are wanting long term more profits on the project for 25 years (as mentioned by other colleagues here) they are finalising stronger ownership in that respect and 2) wants the silly US claim to go away - so when billingham is announced there is no uncertainty. Also even if we did announce financial close today - it would have a limited effect on a day where all the media is talking about 2nd lockdown. So we have to wait 60 days more.
This is the thing - investment is over a period of time, we have to be patient. I know some of us have been here for years - and respect to you. For me I have been in eqtec since April and i have my price targets (not date targets). I know people are selling for different reasons but the potential is huge and nothing has changed. Deeside is a 20kw project and again huge potential. I think the Government will announce financial packages subsidies for green tech sector. that will be on its way.
Lets all stay patient and calm and wait for this to materialise. On days like this. Keep yourself busy and not get down about your investment. Im pretty sure it will come good for you based on its fundamentals, future sector significance, balance sheet and broker notes. I say this as an investor with many millions of shares - you can imagine the red today. But im more confident than ever before.
Its pretty certain they will close on 22nd November - or prob even before that - may be late October. If any crash does - some stocks will be just getting on with it and this will be one of them as evidenced through march lows.happen
For those of you that have sold. All the best. It will be sad watching this progress on the sidelines.
I'm very much afraid, that EQT, like a plethora of other Cos. is a 'jam tomorrow' company. Many posters keep 'ramping the 'order pipeline'. Except for a small Greek plant, which isn't waste plastic, but biodegradable olive waste, and worth Eu2.5M over 18 months, there's nothing, albeit the occasional MOU extension. DP is becoming like his predecessors.
The last RNS was almost exactly the same as the one in June sating MOU for Billingham. CV19 is no excuse for nothing happening on the 'Scott T'O'. It's getting more like the 'Newport project', which eventually died a death. It's a concern for me, and glad I took 50% off the table last week in expectation of a 'nothing' RNS.
Me too. In for a penny in for a pound! At least I'm still in front!
In my opinion, the Billingham delay was priced in with last week's closing price. I just relax and wait.
What we see today is a general crash, and thanks to the Nikola thing, NEL is also going down in big steps and with it the whole alternative energy market, including EQT.
I hope that the American markets will catch this up a bit afterwards and that NEL will bounce at around 4 p.m. CET, pulling the whole sector ??up again. Just sold some of my surpringly "stable" PHE to add a few more NE. Wish me luck :-)
No one here can advise you. Personally I am considering stopping up as I believe we will see a significant rise after close of Billingham and other news is approaching fast. This is not advice. DYOR.
I am in two minds whether to topup at the SP or sell some of my current shareholding to reduce losses.
