Get worse after a couple of beers!
Price a bit soggy this afternoon.
We await news to give this direction.
The MOU for Billingham is actually until 22nd Sept. What you're likely referring to is the option for Eqtec to buy out the SVP from Scott Bros which was stated to be 45 days from when they announced it, which is up on 24th Aug. If that date lapses with no news then it doesn't mean Billingham won't go ahead, it just means they haven't bought our Scott Bros share. But if they announce the buyout of the SPV on or before 24th Aug then it's a sure sign Billingham will almost certainly go ahead. Time will tell.
Debcashew that new company is just a placeholder new entity for a possible new deal.
Wouldn't read too much into it as they cost £79 to set up and £10 to close down if they don't get any interest.
But it does suggest that they are busy!
The Mou deadline is September 24th. don't expect anything next week lad
Anyone who thinks that the Greeks sign contracts in August needs a reality check or rather a pleasant weekend in Athens as it is empty with all the decision makers at their country homes.
Pencil in something for the second week in August!
Now as to Billingham?
Well the blazing hot weather there is less of an issue.
That would be against stock market rules as far as I know.
Price sensitive information is supposed to be releaesed as soon as possible to ensure everyone gets the news as near as the same time as possible.
Is there an advantage for the company to sit on any big news and allow the share price to drop before releasing the news?
I believe these projects will be progressed and I believe the timelines mentioned in days are business days, why wouldn’t they be.
But comments in interviews about delivery times should be more carefully made and always taken with a pinch of salt.
I think DP has been a bit naive stating a couple of weeks, as a CEO who has been managing this company through a pandemic he should have a firm grasp of potential delays that it could cause.
Completely agree with you both! (GG57 & Carlo ) but I've got to be patient as I am sitting on a loss having bought in at the top (by the time I've done my research you guys have been in and out twice! )
News ofyen comes when least expected and it might be another project entirely?
I'm inclined to agree. DP seems to receive the approval from his fans but in my opinion, naive timelines set by a CEO is a warning flag....
The research does however lend towards these projects taking place at some point so patience should be rewarded.

I agree, Greek project keeps getting touted as being on the brink of being closed but it never is. In his interview 14 days ago he said 'a couple of weeks'. He also said 'a couple of weeks' at the end of May. I've de-risked a bit as a result. I'm still confident news will come, but I needed some cash to invest in another promising company with potential to multi-bag soon!
Definitely in need of some news here, otherwise I can see us drifting up to the high 5's

you've been dragging this greek project out long enough now.
2 weeks up tomorrow after his last interview
