Over the last 12 months the SP is up over 90%. We were at 11.75p. When we were at 30p this figure was up nearly 300% in less than 12 months. As for new customers we have been scaling back on the smaller customers (hence no new news) and focusing quite rightly on the big boys i.e Bank of America. The ramping up of one customer could blow our current market cap out the water and make us one one the biggest payments companies. Hank has said this on YouTube interviews. We upped our relationship with Bank of America back in December via RNS and our last update also said that we hit our best ever month for December. We won a prestigious award in March / April 2017 and this was reported that it was due to our working relationship with Bank of America. Reports suggest 2017 is the big year of Fintech growth. Just because the SP has dropped doesn't mean Earthport isn't cutting the mustard. I believe this company will blow £1 a share out the water, but not in a straight line.
We dont need new customers. We have enough customers now to make us the biggest payments company. No bad news, no fund raising. No news is good news. Soon we will know about profits and dividends.
This has been shorted due to the quick rise to 30p and no update expected in June. Once the good news comes the shorters will have to buy the shares back in order to end the short. Lets hope they get caught out.
Should be getting an update soon of record transactions since December. The lack of news has seen volume and sp fall off a bit. We may have hopefully bottomed out and have a gradual rise on expectation of a good update. .
When I buy or sell I pay about£10 plus other charges like stamp duty. If, like me, you think you've made a good purchase only to change your mind a short time later then these costs will swallow most of the profit you may make. Jeremy Corbyn recently suggested it should be a level playing field and everyone should pay similar charges, however big companies don't have the same fees as private investors. Ignoring this, I agree that the trading behaviour on this share is odd. It is almost like someone is deliberately trying to confuse an algorithm into reducing the price due to a large number of sales. Even if they are for a few pence. Why would someone do that? Either to profit from people panic selling, needlessly or for a takeover.
As a holder of these (only £2k's) I'm wondering why there were so many trades Friday at tiny amounts where the whole trades under a tenner. One was 0.46p for two shares! Can you buy or sell two shares with no cost?
Was that drop of 8% today orchestrated to trigger stop losses before its return to the original starting price? If so then it makes me think that this stock price is being manipulated. If the intention is to perpetually lower it on no news and hope to make a profit from individuals who bottle it, then I will be buying on the lows and also profiting from their naivety. If only I had more money to gamble with, I'd make a fortune from this Mickey mouse market maker.
http://www.military-technologies.net/2017/05/30/blockchain-distributed-ledger-market-expected-to-reach-5430-million-by-2023-globally/ This article suggests that block chain is expected to be used more frequently by several industries in the future. It names the key companies as IBM, Microsoft and Earthport along with others.
All of the sells over £50k since 19th have been at 22.75. Looks like someone has been offered that price for a large portion. If it was a director they would have had to declare it. Surprised there's no end to say an institution has dropped to a different% range. If I was Hank I'd be aiming for the 43p level. To get there will need more than one piece of good news. It needs momentum. I think that any contracts will be kept under wraps until there are a few to announce and then release them over a few weeks.
Earthport has predicted £125m turnover in about 4 years. That would be about 50 million transactions a year. Upto December 2016 we were doing about 8 million transactions. Bank of America went live in Feb. So i expect that to increase month on month. Our gross profit is at 70% per transaction. A fag packet calculation would be £100m profit and a profit of 20p per share. They could payout half that making a 10p divi a year.
If you look at the trades the total order was quite a bit more than £1.5 million. It explains why it was walked down to a lower price over the last few days. A rise back to 27p doesn't sound like much but it's actually a 15%gain. You'd have to wait several years to get that return from a savings account.
This was bought down by the mm's to fill a large £1.5m order. Going back up now.
There have been some very large sales go through today. These will be sold at a profit in the next few days - watch the share price slowly tick back up from here. I just wish I had some spare cash so I could buy more this afternoon.
The opportunity remains and the business model is fit for purpose. ""Mega projects remain in the pipeline for core customers such as BoA"" (which we assess in some detail in a report we are publishing today) http://www.earthport.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/market_research_Panmure_Gordon_25_January_2016.pdf
""The global head of payments at Bank of America said Earthport is going to change corespondent banking world wide and he moves half a trillion dollars a day."" Watch between 3.00 and 3.56 minutes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zYpaBKRvxXc We currently move $10 billion. Scalability is huge. We currently move about $10 billion a year.
Earthport only do B2B transactions and not consumer. The B2B market is 100 times bigger than the consumer market. We are scaling up our transactions on a monthly basis. We had our biggest month on record in December 2016. I think we will break records as each month goes by.
At the weekend I checked out downloads of fx payment apps on Google play. There will be more on Apple but I don't have an iPhone. Hyperwallets products are popular. Over 100 000. Get good reviews. Cashpro from BAML despite being new is low. Only 1000. It may be that the Americans use laptops rather than mobile or prefer apple. I then checked Axis bank - over 5 million. They were offering reviews faster than you can read them. Cashpro, so far has 3 reviews. If you go on the Earthport website, they say that via a reseller they transfer finance for Amazon, Uber and Airbnb. They also provide work for companies who do not want to be named. I just bought more shares in this today. It is the only stock I hold and am hoping it's plans for the treasury netting are successful.
Great award. Earthport are the best at what we do.
http://www.earthport.com/news-insights/news/earthport-wins-2017-nacha-excellence-payments-award/ Is this significant?
In the latest results there are comments about changes to staffing. Dr Brown is also employed by Luceco - they own masterplug along with led and wall bracket suppliers. Looks like a good company. Dr Brown has specialist skills in mergers and acquisitions. I wonder if these skills will be useful for Earthport?
We went live in February doing transactions for the biggest bank in the world.
Harold Bosse, Global Head of Product and PMO, Earthport says there will be a couple of winners emerging from this industry like Google. At 0.34 into the video. That would be good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZs7jJjBcas
I understand expansion costs money. Although once systems are in place transactions are scalable. We would then be able to just increase the volume on that network without any extra costs. The volumes have potential to be huge.
Your very safe bladerunneruk with your investment here. I topped up yesterday. Sold some Oil and gas shares after riding the ups and downs of the industry. This by far is one of the best stocks I hold. Exciting times ahead. Atb Muso
Thanks for the info. I've put all of my savings, which isn't very much, into this. Fingers crossed.
