28.5 hours and counting - looking like a good sized load.
17 hours and counting.
We finally have a hook up - start time 15.15 GMT
I guess we might have a hook up any time in the next few hours as the wave height falls below 3m.
Is it some sort of tanker war?
Hi MO, Yes looks like hook up within the hour, I Wonder If HK will hang around just in case ?
Good morning all
Looks like a last minute switch back to TK...

Good luck all, MO
We are in gods hands mr hannon -- Always listen to the weather as all captains say
Heres hoping. Thanks for the updates chilts. I prefer safety ahead of a rushed load
The weather is finally easing - we should get a hook up today but no sign yet.

Its looking like a Saturday PM offload now - thankfully the weather is finally settling down - that will be 14 days since the last tanker left.
The trouble was that they were not ready for a hook up until Tuesday - the original ETA's confirm this - and by that time the weather window had gone - remembering they need at least 24 hours for the transfer.
As I mentioned a few weeks ago - the weather around Shetland has been very calm this Autumn - this had allowed the maximum amount of offloads.
Now we are in winter we can expect to loose some days to the weather - it looks like 3 or maybe even 4 days this week. But hopefully AK has continued production for at least some of those days and the next tanker will arrive sooner.
TK has gone HK has taken over - it looks like HK is positioning for hook up later.
HK was designated for the hook up but she was delayed in Le Havre because of the French strike - TK would have taken the load if the weather had allowed.
AK must be very full now - hopefully they can hook up today but the weather isn't t great.
Did the other tanker have the wrong type hose fitting lol, or is it because AK is so full we need a bigger one?
Pelle
I don't think that TK hooked up.
HK is now just 23 miles to the south of AK and is steaming at over 13 knots towards her - hopefully for a hook up later today although there is another storm to come through later today and into Saturday morning.

Was TK also hooked up before also and got a load?
There was comment on swedish forum, that someone think he remember that it was a split load last December also.
And its for different accounts or something.
Sounds very strange to me but if you have history, might worth check it
Its looking likely that HK is going to do this hook up - she is currently just 90 miles to the south and moving at around 13 knots.
No clarity yet - we just see TK about 0.4 miles from AK in her second attempt at a hook up.
The weather forecast is for a calmer night followed by rising seas again tomorrow - so I guess we could see a moonlight hook up, unless the cloud cover persists.
AIS far from real-time, but looks like TK having a second attempt at AK link-up...

Cheers all, MO
Thanks for clarifying chilts. Anyway, a day or two doesnt impact the sp anyway - we are stuck around 18p Where AB wants us which is great
Its not going to plan - TK has backed off - presumably AK has spun around and is pointing in a slightly different direction - so they have to start the approach again - currently 1.5 miles away.
That's arrival in the vicinity of the field Squif - not hook up.
TK is in the final stages of hook up - under 1 mile away now - hook up should be around an hour or so.
Thats strange - i got a message from marine traffic that torill knutsen arrived at kraken at 08:26 this morning. Is that not the case?
Yes, certainly getting there - more likely about 15.00 GMT.
It doesn't look like they are going to wait for HK - that would delay hook up until tomorrow morning.
Hey KO
Does look like is going in slowly... 0.7nm to go !!! Imagine max waves still ~5/6m, wind is calming.

If linked-up by 1/2pm is around 11.8 days since last tanker departed, so possibly a 550k.
Good luck all ENQers, MO
