The AIS was slow to pick up SN last night- it seems that she left AK at around 21.00 - so that was a 26 hour hook up - draught is 12.3m - load seems to be around 500k.
She is heading for Scapa Flo and a STS with the tanker San Jacinto - another one of these large super tankers - so this is probably another long distance load heading initially for Suez.
29 hours and counting - just waiting for AIS to pick up SN when she moves away from AK.
21 hours and counting.
Yes, I think we have a hook up - it could have been as early as 18.00 but will measure from 19.00GMT.
On AIS GPS positions I've got <400m. Unless they separate I've putting 19:00 into my sheet. But it's the detach that counts and I'm expecting it at 10 pm tomorrow for an 11.5 day turnaround. All weather issues unwound and a decent >40K close to Jan.
Looking out for those OAG numbers.
Interesting comments here on the relative impacts of conventional flu v this Chinese version. Time will tell.
The slow motion hook up continues - still 0.5 nautical miles to go.
SN is just over a nautical mile from AK now - making a very slow approach.
SN is still playing tanker tease - she is now drifting 17 miles to the east of AK - we are now 10 days from when NO departed with load 57 - the weather is set fine.
Meanwhile in the North Sea it is still unclear if SN has hooked up - it looked like she was moving round for a hook up from the south east or east but AIS is still poor - simply not picking anything up that is moving at less than about 5 knots.
She seems to be just holding off at the moment. Weather and seas look fine so should happen soon... https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/home/centerx:1.3/centery:59.9/zoom:10
It looks like we are finally getting some action - SN is just 9 miles to the south west of AK and slowly moving in.
SN has reappeared on the AIS 23 miles to the south west of AK - she is just drifting - so no sign of a hook up yet.
SN still isn't currently showing on the AIS - the last hit was over 17 hours ago - maybe we have a hook up, maybe we don't?
GKB, Pelle,
Official guidance is: Pelle has to give me all family shares becuse I'm a Therapist and it will make him better. Scotland team up with Scandinavia, arriverderci UK, there's your Nordic Bloc. Eeek. No Klingon. Sullom Voe offshore tax free status, North Sea Vegas.
GLAXXX
Party still stands so don’t worry.
Who knows, by the time we reached 1 GBP your in EU again. Lol.
Is it Really true???
Sounds like you want the swedes dump the shares so you guys can get more.
Maybe you need you worry about your visa application for 1 GBP party instead.
They already toughen the borders last years
The last AIS fix was nearly 3 hours ago with SN just 22 nautical miles south west of AK - no idea if we have a hook up yet - balance of probability is that SN is just drifting about waiting for first light tomorrow.
Very Nice!
3 tankers per month and we can get tanker number 75 in July.
Remember GKB estimated September maybe 4-5 months ago. And that sounded reasonable back then.
Things get better and better here.
SN is now just 52 nautical miles south west of AK - she is travelling at 15 knots - so maybe there is some urgency for a hook up today - AIS is very poor so we may not be able to track the action as she closes in.
SN is passing between Orkney and Shetland on her way to AK - ETA has changed from 14.00 to 17.00GMT - so it looks like hook up is more likely tomorrow - that would be 9 days since the last load - although AK probably wasn't empty when load 57 left, she probably had a couple of days production still aboard as a result of the stormy weather - the weather is set fine through the next ten days.
SN is making her way through the Hebridean islands at the moment - just passing Rum - at a steady 13.6 knots - ETA is around 24 hours time - weather is set fine throughout the 10 day forecast period.
ST has increased speed to 15.6 knots - she is just crossing the route of the Holyhead to Dublin ferry.
SN now on her way showing a good speed of 13.8knots - ETA Wednesday, that would be 8 days since the last hook up - its likely that AK still has a few days production that NO didn't clear on load 57 - so still playing catch up after the stormy weather.
The weather is no problem at all for the next 7 days.
Thanks for update , and Enquest should release an update within 2 weeks , WTi low enough to dampen growth in rigs. 25p looks like a good entry point for new investors and those rebuying. I was still impressed by the movement last week when it touched 26p and then went back to 26.75, so I think there is a II out there building on an existing holding quietly.
I can see you
Stena Natalita is currently unloading at Milford Haven - ETA is 14.00GMT on Wednesday.
