Hi Jan
Not at all, I did sell on Monday morning but will be back when the situation becomes clearer.
One of the only occasions when I have made a decent profit with Enquest.
Good luck getting back to your entry price and moving into profit - I am sure that you will - when is the big question.
@ Hitman, ha......well I did my bit in support of the good cause long ago so you only need to find 999 others !
Hi hitman - I've thought this for sometime. I imagine many here have more than they intended (OO and RI) but you've left off the II's already in. To avoid double counting I've eliminated Hargreaves and Avanza
https://markets.ft.com/data/equities/tearsheet/profile?s=ENQ:LSE That leaves 493 mio Add Bseisu and associates 178mio
https://www.enquest.com/investors/shareholder-information/shareholder-meetings/major-shareholders
For wet finger accounting let's say there is 1bio shares available. A milllion shares apiece is enough and the people I know have more than that. I have no idea of the average holding by retail investors but I'm not a seller and neither are they. There will always be speculative money but it tends to go home square at night. I agree that if you wanted "size" it is going to be difficult. In fairness there are other companies looking attractive. PMO for one.
I rip what I sew.
Crikey Romaron,
Remind me never to get in a car with you driving then ! Would hate to come across a roundabout !
I look on the bright side. For example we aren't inundated with BTFATH1 and his blow by blow account of his trading so it looks like he missed the boat.
Sometimes the only way to get past something is to go through it. You can’t go around it, so just go through it.
It's impossible now for an II to buy a large stake in this company without significantly driving up the share price.
All you need is 1,000 PIs to have 1,695m shares each and you have cornered the market.. In fact if you deduct AB's holdings, it's less than 1.5m each
haha.. if we get through tomorrow unscathed.
25p: think it.. dream it.. believe it, .. and you will see it.
lol
P - great post below - couldn't have put it too much better.
"Ok, I traded some Enq during last year. I gain some but also some fun activity.
Now I am more like sheriff in Nottingham protecting my gold. Lol.
Looks very dangerous try trade now in early upward cycle."
I'm sure some if not many people on here think they can time their buys and sells to the tee, and keep making money. I suppose one could get very lucky and time their sells and re-buys well, but it's tempting fate. People on here announcing their sells - good on them for making money on swings, but this is oil now in a major bull market and a SP can quickly run away from your sell price, if you did sell to get in at a lower price. For trying to gain a few % points, it is a risky strategy fo rme anyway. If oil's rangebound, I'll wholeheartedly recommend it - not at this stage in the business cycle though.
Take Dodger16 - he/she had a good trade made 40% profit and sold at 17.5p and now it's got away from that price point. He hasn't since posted re-entry or otherwise, but this is what can happen when you think you can time the trade. The 3p change from then to now isn't a big move granted, but if oil takes off, the upmoves can be violent and you can be really left behind. This is why I'd rather I have a core holding and let that run, and maybe a smaller trading position to flip in/out if you feel compelled to trade. ;-) But hey, no doubt everyone knows what they're doing.

Why spoil thing Juan. Now you've given him a reason to return.
Chilting,
I notice you have not posted today.
I do hope you did not take my "Tom Foolery" yesterday to Heart. My wife says I sometimes take the jokes too far !
Please accept my apologies if it upset you !
All the best
JAN
Hi Hitman
I'm a fan of TOTO too.
My favourite is "Africa". Great song !
Hello L3,
Ok, I traded some Enq during last year. I gain some but also some fun activity.
Now I am more like sheriff in Nottingham protecting my gold. Lol.
Looks very dangerous try trade now in early upward cycle.
We could do Friday 26th March if you want.. as the accounts are released on Thursday 25th..
"Maybe a large write-back is all that it takes"...
@hitman1a
are we going to do this every Friday increasing the price by 5p every time
Hi Pelle,
You misunderstood what I wrote about learning from Chilting. I am not questioning your or anyone else's ability to form your own views, or mine for that matter. I meant that Chilting seems to have a knack for weekly/monthly in and out trading.
I am ignoring the change in Stocks by the EIA until 2 weeks from now. Meaningless data... More interested in what MbS and Novak have to say.
GL
if we all think 25p at the same time , it will happen.
How about this Friday 4.29pm. ?
Hold the line: Great song by TOTO.. also "On the Run"
Hello L3
Yes, it was 70m end Dec. Post on Avanza before.
Agree Q3/Q4 looks likely and better let it run out as t was agreed.
Why you think I need learn from Chilting?
I am capable having my own view and I believe oil will become more expensive over next years than most can imagine here.
Hi Pelle,
You ask; "L3, when do estimate finish OZ at current price? October?"
I'll give you an answer. I assume that on 31Dec money owed was $70M (including any PIK interest)
If you think E121 is right about the POO, the at the end of Q3. If you think Novak's confidence interval for the POO got it right, then early in 2022Q1.
Neverthless, I can give you my subjective probability distribution of when the balance would be cleared assuming the loan is not repackaged with the new RCF (which it should not. Companies gain some credibility by actually clearing loans, rather than re-packaging them all the time!):
In H1, w/ probability 0.1%
In Q3, w/ probability 9.9% (...as you can see I am listening to E121)
In Q4, w/ probabilty 75%
In 2022, 15%, most of it in Q1.
You might ask chilting. He is the weekly/monthly trader. So, he keeps a regular eye on poo. Do read his last 6/8 posts on ENQ, and you will learn some.

L3, when do estimate finish OZ at current price?
October?
HI gkb47,
Thank you. My swedish is not very good, but I do understand that the last 2 loads averaged 14 days and 3 hours. That means 35.4Kbopd in February2021 (who needs OGA data then.... Therapist will tell me that I was wrong when OGA release their data). As always, I would prefer more. 37Kbopd would do just fine...
GLA
Hi L3
You can get them of comrade kamrat tarmak's sheets if you have the link. Which proves I've had a look so thanks comrade.
Hi Chilting,
Could you please elaborate on why you decided to sell? Just curious.
All:
Does any of you have the time stamps of the last 5 Kraken offloads?
If so, if you could share the data that would be much appreciated.
Spindok,
Swapping this for a sarnie... How come?
Agreed, Mr c
She doesn't like going under 20p for very long.
Either POO or publication of our full year results , either could be the catalyst for our next leg up !
I still see 30p hit in the coming months.
All the best
JAN
At a higher or lower price I wonder!
Wouldn't mind a dip back to 18p myself but it is looking strong at 19/20p
Looking forward to Chilting saying he has bought back in on Friday . He has a few followers so they will buy back too.
Possibly a good call to sell chilts. Could be a volatile week and potentially we will drop back a penny or 2.
Saying that, it's holding up very well currently.
