Feel sorry for you guys/gals having to make a decision amongst such a poor choice of candidates tomorrow. Will be surprised if the Market doesn’t punish other than a clear Tory majority as that looks to be its expectation. GLA.
Anyway that poo drop was a joke then, Hedge Fund folly, they will do it again before the end of the week. I feel sorry for the real oil traders having to put up with this shhite day in day from the futures markets, I read recently that about 50% of barrels are on loan to these sharks. Ban all futures I say especially the indexes, its just bitcoin play and cyber money. I hear Lagarde mentioned the ECB is looking at its own cyber currency, where the F is that going. Good luck Boris.
And don't forget its 48% of the electorate that bothered to vote, 28% didn't so the country is not split down the middle like the remoaners keep carping about, however we will be split down the middle if we remain as we will end up in two different regions of Europe god help us. Sort the fishing rights out then fish woman.
Just another remain opinion. One of the 48%.
If labour get in we are in big trouble
Neil - everything is a risk - it's just the degree of risk.
With Corbyn we go down the path of a Modern European Socialist State - similar to France and Germany - high tax, high regulation, union power - personally I don't want that - if you do - go ahead and vote Labour.
Johnson will give us Brexit - harmful yes and those trade deals will be a problem - but a least we live in an economy where business can thrive.
Remain at our peril, if in doubt just google INTEREG. Blackpool could be the MEP's playground if you get my drift.
I spoke to one of my clients this afternoon, he runs a hedge fund and also voted remain but now says the best thing for the country now is for a conservative majority, get Brexit done ASAP and start repairing the damage it’s caused. The country can then move forward as one rather than this massive divide we had over the last three and half years. A hung parliament would be catastrophic for the economy and none of us want that.
I don’t like BJ but I hate Corbyn and the thought of another three years of uncertainty is even worse.
The best outcome for Enquest will be a Conservative majority - that applies to all businesses - big and small.
I voted firmly against Brexit but we have got to a stage where the indecision is doing far more damage to the economy than leaving Brexit ever could.
I think that with a Conservative majority all UK based PLC's will get a big boost in their SP's - a real Santa Rally!!!
But it's not only about Brexit. I don't think it's the end of democracy but it's certainly under attack. Bots on social media are attacking and posting disinformation that is viewed by millions; the latest saying the boy on the hospital floor was staged. Trump has something with fake news but spoils it by inventing an alternative truth and projecting. It's only fake news when it doesn't support his agenda.
Made me think that if trolls can get away with it in an election what games could be played in the financial sector? It wouldn't be on a message board as anonymous posters cannot build a following but imagine a CEO's twitter account being hacked?
Neil
Labour and the SNP will be salivating at the mouth to get hold of some of Enquest's profits - tax tax tax....
Then they will come to "rob" private investors - tax tax tax...
so, let me get this clear. Many folk are adamant they don't want Brexit and yet some of those would have voted Labour not knowing which way Labour stand with Brexit... I think democracy may have had it's day ;)
Yes, because labour are anti oil but we may end up with a hung parliament Friday am , so back to square one,
Do you think a Con win would give Enq a boost?
