Tomorrow will be a great R.I.P Ammu123 day for sure. Tax deal isn't that big of a deal, just look at Lundin Petroleum and it INSANE value with the high Norwegian taxes. Tomorrow we will fly ay ay ay ammu... ;-)
Nice one January , ha ha.
Sadly he is the most stupid poster on LSE.
He some how believes that he can influence the share price by posting "scary" comments. Posting 25p one day, then when he buys he will post 50p the next.
He thinks that his super stupid negative posts will actually cause the share price to fall. lol.
His posts have NO effect on the share price, as my posts don't either !
If they did then the share price would be £3.75 by know with my positive view on Enquest.
Anyway I am filtering him, can't be asked reading utter rubbish ! Not sure he even knows what a P&L is ! Ammu probably thinks that it's the maker of Anusol Hemeroid Cream .
Stop reading Ammu at ....".I Think"... thinking requires a lot more than this individual appears capable of.
It’s always the same with Ammu, when something happens and SP drops he is looking for buying himself as cheap as possible.
Think we already passed the bottom yday as it stabilised and climbed little towards end of the day.
It was probably correct drop the Mcap 150m but not from that cheap level it’s been trading already.
With these oil prices Mcap should have 2-3 times more then it was prior this windfall tax.
Hope AB push for getting some estimates out from banks or Moodys soon.
Ammu,
I am wondering are you ever able to buy a share at all in any company?
It seems that you always believe the share price is going down 50%. Regardless of when.
Thanks a lot ammu.
Ill buy up to at last 40p
Appreciate every singe share you can sell below that

North Sea oil and gas producers hit back at Sunak’s £5bn windfall tax
Dismayed sector warns ‘multiyear’ assault on profits will ‘drive away investors’ and cut production
https://www.ft.com/content/9a4b6272-86da-436f-a8c0-fb697d18c303
The process of driving away investors has started and will continue....II will have a lots to offload and will drip feed into the market
So we agree on weakness to continue next week.....lets see if 25p holds.....
You'll have to do better than that Coco. It's old news and for many here not of that much interest. The P/E and EPS projections are pretty impressive but not reflected in the share price. Doesn't bother me in particularly as I am what they call "a long term holder" a term you have probably not come across. Doesn't make you a winner or loser but Warren Buffet has done OK with it.
I have mixed feelings about tomorrow as I released some funds on Friday (Fundsmith) that aren't credited until the next day. My intention is to buy if the selling continues but it may well have exhausted itself. Even with the Levy we will soon be practically debt free and the EPS is getting close to the market price. I feel good about this holding.
Whilst you're here there's something I've been meaning to ask. Do you wear face paint when you post?
Need To Know: Analysts Just Made A Substantial Cut To Their EnQuest PLC (LON:ENQ) Estimates
https://simplywall.st/stocks/gb/energy/lse-enq/enquest-shares/news/need-to-know-analysts-just-made-a-substantial-cut-to-their-e-1
Its all starting now!!!
so I think we all agree SP is going 25p next week. The question is will it provide support or keep dropping?
hmm.....nervous times for all of us
Yes disappointing the Levy doesn’t allow for previous Tax losses, but irrespective we keep 75% of Profits !. As Sunak was clearly still working on this idea as he walked into the Commons, we can expect clarification & some tweaking of the Levy, as it’s properly thought thro. As it stands this Levy ( and thus it’s tax breaks ) could be withdrawn at any time should Oil prices drop to a yet unknown figure. A 25% Levy may be find when Brent’s over $110 , not so at $55 , so let’s await further clarity. Currently this seems an incentive for short term Capex only , which probably wasn’t the plan !
780m is for 2023 and hedge considering Q1 next year
ZFG, I also see this as possibility that Enq will be bought out.
Anyway I updated my calculations and see 780m FCF and that’s after 100m tax.
Based on 110 oil and no Kraken premium.
So there more upside as oil 120 and Kraken premium 10% +.
Debt going down fast.
And there possibility this tax is changed for better also.
This really also puts oil companies in spotlight and calculations and valuations will be reviewed and a FCF yield of 100% will come out as insanely cheap
Welcome back Ammu123 - you always make me smile
Ammu123,
Massive rally on monday on buy out roumors.
to be tested next week and then 19p....
65% of all profits goes to SUNAK till 2025.....65% ENQ 2P resources profits goes to Sunak....
End of North Sea
