The latest load collected by Navion Oslo has now reached Rotterdam - it is being unloaded in a part of the port that seems to be involved with fuel blending - Botlek Rotterdam.

Thank you Chilts,
Now we've got a chemical products tanker doing a STS with CSK Valiant, so guess we can confirm the blend is being done in CSK Valiant.
If ships run on this mix without refining we've got some really great oil!
HMHn
This has happened 3 or 4 times now to Kraken crude since the Summer - these large super tankers seem to collect their loads as they go -from Sullom Voe to Skagen or Rotterdam then sometimes more STS transfers in the Med before heading through the Suez Canal with the final destination usually being Singapore.
CSK Valiant is doing a other STS near Skagen. Maybe blending IMO2020 compliant oil for shipment!
From the Ops Update (21/11/19):
"Since first production, more than 24 million barrels of oil have now been produced and 49 cargoes offloaded from the FPSO"
which implies and "average" off load of 490,000.
I think that we may have slightly overestimated the load size - it will probably be more accurate to measure loads at 500k rather than 525k - generally though our observations are fairly accurate.
P - looking at my notes, the 1st load in December (#53) was with a 14-day gap - that could've accounted for the overall slight reduction in production from Nov?
Hello Chilting
I saw we had Kraken at 42k Nov/Dec.
How does that corespond to tanker watching measurement?
I thought we would be slightly higher, if I remember correct, November we had 3 complete tankers with 500k+ in 30 days.
NO is on her way to Rotterdam with a draught of 12.8m - so probably around 500k.
The hook up finished at around 10.00GMT - 25.5 hours - although AIS is unclear.
23.5 hours and counting.
13.5 hours and counting.
Ninian's a bit further North and not sheltered as well from Shetland as Kraken. Was looking at Windy (both models ECMWF and WavewatchIII) https://www.windy.com/60.092/1.390/waves?gfsWaves,waves,59.788,1.802,8 and it does look like it's getting close to 4m limit again overnight, but hopefully she'll get fully loaded and off quick speed.
The past track certainly confirms hook up now - AIS is poor so it is difficult to be sure of timing but 08.30GMT still looks about right.
The wave height limit for hook up does seem to be 4m - as you can see we are well below that this morning.

If I remember correctly anything up to 5 metres is possible. 5 metres and above is a No No.
This is the North Sea, rough as hell for most of the year, Offloading in conditions like we are seeing is perfectly fine.
Been looking at this on Marine Traffic and NO been positioned at Kraken for last 2hrs 20 minutes. Looking at Ninian which is close by with Winds around 40knots and Sig Wave around 4 Meters so not sure if she will have hooked up in those conditions. Weather getting much better tomorrow and Wednesday but sig wave still at around 3 meters. Can she hook up with sig wave at that height?
NO is probably hooked up now - AIS is poor - hook up at 08.30GMT seems about right.
We touched and I am sure limit orders would have been triggered....next time we will sail through
30 minutes or 30p ???
Not quite there yet but should be within the next 30 mins or so.
Making her approach now, possible hook up around 7am, oil up this morning as well
To get better Internet so the crew can watch the football.
Find me another company like Enquest for £500m market cap..
Makes you wonder why she’s moves so far away why waiting
No hook up today - NO is now 39 miles to the north west of AK - weather is ok.
NO is still 16 miles to the south west of AK - no sign of an immediate hook up, but NO is well positioned for later this morning - weather is ok now and getting better all the time.
