The test results will only say whether you're Covid positive or negative. When I tested positive, the report didn't say that I had Delta (I'm pretty sure I did as I had all the symptoms) or Alpha/Beta variant Covid.
BTF - are you saying that the NHS is now doing this OR is this own deduction from a positive result? Presumably the latter.
Ammu and you aren't too different with your trading instincts and pumping/dumping though.
BTFA - If your son contracted Omicron from a school it would have gone through the class like wild fire,(The media would have jumped on that) I've just been through the same thing with both my sons but it was the nastier variant (Delta), more or less the whole class and their families all went down with it. I suffered a bastard cough, headache and Flu like symptoms as did my wife but both the kids had nothing else other than a night of feeling a little sick, 10 day isolation followed by a another week for the kids as the NHS put the wrong date in (ERRRR) Pleased my wife .......Not
Any way good luck with your constant lowering your buy in price. If I were you I would have copied AB for the range to buy back in.
I hope you haven't missed the boat being greedy
So you're telling the truth and UKHSA is either lying or playing catchup? 3-4 days = 134 Omicron cases according to the attached chart.
https://news.sky.com/story/covid-19-uk-records-101-new-omicron-variant-cases-in-past-24-hours-taking-total-to-437-12489139
I also play this when reading this board to try and understand poster motivation:

My son contracted in school and first showed symptoms on the 29th quickly followed by my wife, they tested positive the following day. Me and my daughter were negative I then started to feel unwell and did another PCR which was positive a few days after. Further PCR tests were then sent as our symptoms were different to delta. These went to a lab (took 3 days) and we had the call from the Ukhsa that it was omicron.
450 cases I don’t think so the first case was actually detected 3 weeks ago in London.
3-4 days to get a lab test back we are at 5,000 at least by now.
We live in a village very close to a well known formula 1 team.
Thanks for the support though lads!!!!
Ha ha ha
What a plonker
Amazing bad luck BTFaff. You've achieved the almost impossible by being one of the 437 cases (source:Sky ) new cases to have got the Omicron variant in the UK to date. Almost as impossible to believe as your legendary successful day trading that even Warren Buffet admits is beyond him.
On Monday there were 72 cases of Omicron in England, 28 in Scotland and 1 in Wales and somewhere in the mix you had 2 of them. what are the chances of that?
My daughter shares a flat with 2 others all under 30. The 2 flatmates have Covid since Saturday and confirmed by PCR but it's not Omicron. My daughter does lateral flow tests daily and is still clear. She has moved out of the flat temporarily and they live in a Covid hotspot. As long as she has no symptons she is following the rules. If it is Omicron she would have to self isolate for 10 days. So you and the wife have had it for a few days by the sound of it when it was even rarer than it is today. Are you South African by any chance?
*I couldn't add opinion as there is no t*sser option.
*at least Ammu is funny and doesn't take himself too seriously.
Well it seems we were one of a select bunch to get omicron, courtesy of our little ones. I tell you this it’s not pleasant in the slightest and both me and the wife are double vaccinated.
Been spaced out for a while now but managed a tidy trade on ted baker.
Looking forward to getting back in here when circa 17.5-18.
Ammu that is extremely poor form son. Have some morals please!!!!
I notice that Ammu has bottled it after taking a tiny profit - I thought day traders weren't adverse to risk?
Big rewards if you think Enquest's SP can start following BP's SP again after it dipped back at the end of October - if production improves, it certainly will.
It looks to me that BP is no longer a strong buy, because its fully valued, but Enquest's SP could easily double up with good news - I will watch with interest but have other prospects at the moment.
Unfortunately....one of the lessons I've learnt with ENQUEST.
Best to trade it as AB will always let you down.
Also there is no place of morales in stock market.
Destroy it and they will run!!"
Ammu123,
He does not have inside information. Sadly he tries to scare people into selling so he can get a better buy back price.. A very nasty thing to do ! However it shows what sort of person he is and what a poor upbringing he has had. No morales !!!!!
