Thanks for the additional info Tracylied, from your knowledge and your focus on Enet It sounds like you are in that area of business. I don't mind at all if the SP messes around in the teens for a while so I have time to build a strong holding. This will be the second long term holding I need for the future.
Welcome Kit. The main event is the 5G mass deployment H2 2021. In a few weeks 3 major Chinese Telecom will be lab testing Ethernity UPF and ACEnic-100 solutions to connect their clients to the 5G network.
Using Ethernity products will save 80% on capex and increase performance.
Ethernity have access to these Telecom through the partnership with Fiberhome and they are likely to be involved in packaging Ethernity products with their own solutions. Ethernity have patent protection on this unique position.
There are also multiple tier one and two opportunities however these are not matured until there is a commercial 5G network.
This is why it is stupid to look back or even in the present for performance indication.
I'm a newby here, I researched these about 1 year ago at 48p and nearly bought. I recently noticed them again but at 15p this time, I've bought 3 days in a row now and want to build up a decent long term stake. Any more info about potential contracts etc I'd like to hear!
Indeed there is nothing in the price for the market opportunity looming. That is what creates the investment case for me. The AIM no longer values potential, prior to 2008 values included speculative anticipated upside. Now there is nothing and most investors have short term goals.
However value will come, it is plain to see that even if Ethernity fails to gain market share income will increase significantly and so will the share price. You also need to look at the excitement being created around 5G, everything in this sector will be drawn into a feeding frenzy.
Tracy, the share price reflects the current p&l and trust in their ability to create revenue now, rather than the position of their IP and potential to exploit this In The future.
I look to their history with other companies in developing value, however the short term is worrying.
As shares are tightly held these should rocket IF they deliver. I am in for 70k share volume with an average buy price of 45p, would like to average down but do not have your or Dallos b##ls.
I know that if this was listed in a tech aware environment or in Israel the company valuation would be well over the IPO.
TL you are the real deal when it comes to proper info on the company , the sector and the trading . I was just speaking in Layman’s terms looking at the sp when I first invested to what it is today. As the last rns clearly shows there are deals coming . You predict hundreds of those deals and I say excellent well all be very happy when enet Gets them! GLA
I disagree. Simply they anticipated a market opening and it didn't. It will very soon but it is 18-24 months behind their view at IPO. The future has just got bigger since the first glimpse but it has taken much longer to arrive. The AIM really doesn't understand the sector and Ethernity position. Sooner or later they will get the picture and hopefully by then I will have enough to keep me globetrotting for many years on the dividends.
Just playing slight devils advocate here I think the transformational deals promised last year followed by the cash flow issue was like a double whammy so in a way it feels like the aim market has schooled enet for not obeying the game rules. So I’m starting to think more that either enet will have to prove itself by doing deals that actually realise it’s potential And showing it in results or it will be bought out hopefully not for pence . Can’t back down now ! GLA
The average AIM mentality is why this is the only UK share I have. I wanted Ethernity but not on the AIM. However even here they can progress massively. Despite the short term betting rather than mid to long investing which is what we are doing. We will win this but we can expect much pain along the way.
I started investing in the 90's things were much slower then. Average hold would be in years not hours.
I never get involved in the circus buying or selling, just leave them to it.
Ethernity has so much potential in a market that doesn't value potential. It makes our decision process very easy though.
Also aided by the twitter plonkers selling because people can't seem to hold a position for more than a few days. If I was an MM I'd make them sell under the bid as well.. complete clowns.
Another big rollover. MMs will hold this until they are all gone.

Exactly what Ethernity have been banging on about for the last few years. Now is the start.
being selfish I would really like the SP to stay down here for a few more weeks, as I am locked in to some spreadbets at the moment, but as soon as I am out I want to make a substantial buy if still under 20P. need a few weeks to turn my SB's around though.
Shaking all the loose shares out. We have seen several rollovers and so have to MMs. They know those shares are out there still and they won't want to overpay. Low volume makes a couple of hundred K shares significant.
SCAP and WINS are the only MMs engaged at the moment. The others are sitting off the price. Hence the spread and the sp drop.
As always I look for opportunity in a low volume environment.
For all the aj bell customers an article in shares magazine today on 5g. Pretty basic but a good read, mentions a few stocks (e.g. vodafone, spirent) and funds.
Got me thinking when would an IT like Herald start taking an interest.
