I could be 50 before I take €1m out of Ethernity.
Sergi, I know you're a youngster and I think a bit of a one off with your level of knowledge and understanding (of whatever age).
25yr old skid and 4yrs holding silc
Tracy, yes, I think you're right. I think the youngsters expect instant returns and don't wait for things to play out, even over the medium term.
Interesting that most of the long term contributors and holders here do appear to be on the more "mature" side even though ENET is on the cutting edge of tech.
well said skid. Look the presentation of PBX.V. That's a very good presentation! :)
Skid unfortunately Marcal type are the majority of sound bite investors.
If Ethernity made sausages we could buy them taste them and decide if it's likely others will like and buy them. They don't make sausages they make solutions for problems we don't have. So they have to fill the gap, paint a picture. Not just for shareholders but many clients won't know that they have choices about how they do this. This is how Nokia and others win contracts. Open seems a bit too difficult. Ethernity need to get the crayons out.
Sergi the IP is a framework, this isn't ASICs. It doesn't need to be protected it needs to be communicated. An example the UEP, this isn't a product it's a starting point for a solution. The more they talk about user cases the more similar absolutely not competing users can link this solution to their problem. No two UEP products will be the same because no two ecosystem will be the same.
Protecting unique patent protected IP is bonkers. How can they sell unless they exploit the user cases.
We should have complete scenarios of deployment clearly laying out the options. Not just for shareholder visibility but for potential clients. We'll see many private networks formed not from IT geniuses but from CEOs using Integrators. These integrators will have the challenge of selling their concept. The more Ethernity say look what we did for customer X the more exposure they get.
Stop being polite and get yourself out there. If they don't need to because they are fully engaged then tell us that's the case.
By the way, I know a lot of people on this board saw Marcal as a bit of a pain, but it is important to understand what drew him / her to ENET in the first place and his thought process to get the jitters and pull out on a small amount volatility.
My hope is that they have 100% confidence in where they are, and from customer interaction at both early and advanced stages in the pipeline, exactly where they are going in 12, 24 plus months.
If this is the case I think the board see investor relations a bit of a side show at this point in time, with management attention 100% on business which will in the end do the real talking and prepared too put up with a bit of complaining chatter on the boards - as well as a CEO who is not a natural.
I think the company does need to have a very clear and compelling investment case in the IR section of their website as a source of info for enquiring minds, as well as good practice for when this gets to a £100m valuation. As I have said before this in itself will not make bit of difference whatever anyone on this site thinks, what matters is getting say 20 new shareholders at £50k, 200 new shareholders at £10k and 2000-5000 new holders at £1k plus. This will come with an IC write up (or to a lesser extent tempus, questor etc), this is why the DU server rns if it comes with a brand name will be a game changer in the shorter term for the share price. I can't see much institution interest, but I don't really know enough about their investment process and screening to be an expert here.
Used the low price to get back up to 1%, which is 100% a 3 year plus holding.
Nice close to the week, have a great weekend everyone - looking forward to a 2-1 to the lions.
I suggested conference calls in the past. Certainly, they would help us a lot to understand and forecast, and to attract investors. But as I think that skid said in this chat, right now is not the moment to do CCs. It is too early. IP needs to be protected at this stage. Just to release the very necessary amount of detail.
It is about balance between cost of equity and cost of competition
In a few years hopefully yes, Enet will be doing tens of $ in Revs from deployments and the competition risk will not be the same I think.
Time will tell... Good weekend for those that are not going to work :)

yeah I have a few recommendations but not anything similar to what tracy said.
The company knows what I think an propose, maybe they will listen maybe the will not. My ideas are not necessarily the best ones, just other ideas :))
Sergi I think you yourself have suggested some presentation vids on the site for more explanation on products , I remember watching the first vid which explains basically how open ran works with almost cartoon graphics . I think some more of those wouldn’t go amiss. I hope you are right though and their style of running the show will be sufficient for the looming period. If I’m honest I got a distinct case of deja vu after the meeting this week . Different circumstances I know now so BRING IT. Atb and have good weekend
I disagree and think that's nonsense.
If you always wait for a crumb from the company when they want to feed you then you are a fool. There's plenty of information easily verifiable, if you decide not to look then you deserve nothing in return.
Why leave the company in control of your investment they are simply looking after themselves.
If you think that I make stuff up then feel free to ask Ethernity directly.
Looking forward is all about speculation, I choose what I believe by testing sources and corroborating information. Ethernity will give you nothing.
Of course it doesn't make any difference to the share price today but investing is not about today.
If you don't look you don't see.
I think that the next run will take us at 80p+, maybe September interims showing 250%+ growth and detailed outlook will help.
I think that blaming Mark or David for I don't what does not add value to this chat.
I also think that comparing a private investor communications or speculations (sometimes without a clear source) and the company makes no sense. Everything that ENET says needs to be approved and its carefully decided. If investors are unable to understand this and the fact that the competitive edge needs to be protected... they should not be investing here.
Enets website is very powerfull, you can learn a lot from their website, but maybe it is easier to read biased speculations
Another week adding... Have a nice weekend :))
looks like they are being squeezed, time to call 5G!
Sing as chasing shares the rest are still disinterested. It will take a few more buys to squeeze them.
Singer now on the bid at 41p
I tried to lift the 5,000 off them, as part of a larger order, probably won't know if I got them till end of play.
Incidentally the buyer I know is American living in Israel. They are buying through a relative in the UK as it's the only way they can access the AIM.
Implications for tax and the shares won't be in their name on the register. It's crazy really and not what should be happening.
Often the case that the order book is the NMS. Whilst the MMs should have the stated size it's experienced that they like to create illusions either singularly or with others. Every once in a while they get caught naked.
Yesterday I knew a volume seller, now I know that he will hold 100k for old times sake selling over 300k. Today I know of a volume buyer looking to build towards 500k under 50p they hope. Not my clients as they act for themselves.
Ok, I stand corrected and you are right TL.
The nms is 2,000. Although Singer are up in 5,000 they don’t have to honour that beyond the 2,000.
I have done it many times before to buy what they have on offer and my broker told me they had to honour that, but perhaps in those cases they were offering just the nms.
Anyway, it matters not.
There’s just one MM, Singer, left @41p, 5,000 shares.
The 2000 is the order book is not. The size on the order book is a declared position and subject to change.
No, it isn’t merely guidance. They have to honour it, that’s the stock market rules. I’ve confirmed and acted on this many times with my brokers.
That's merely guidance. 2000 is the market size. Even that is no online and not immediate. It's the wild west.
