I agree that today's RNS was a tad fluffy but it was nonetheless a positive one with new distribution agreements with large Far East trading companies and a potentially exciting if albeit nascent new deal and business relationship with a major Japanese OEM in the 5G virtual/metaverse space..
Obviously the market is looking for larger contracts with attendant financials and I have no doubt they are coming.
Today's RNS demonstrates Ethernity's expanding reach into new geographical areas and wider technologies for its products and IP.
I expect the market to take a more sober view over the coming days or weeks hopefully encouraged by more positive newsflow.
IMHO
DYOR
Thanks eth
Good for you re your holding.
ENET clearly have a lot of business momentum, we just need to translate that through into sp momentum. Iâm sure that will come, sooner rather than later.
Gave you a tick up uhlf.
for clarification, i still have my enet shares around 180,000.
not sold any yet.

im happy to apologise here if indeed the 80 p exrcise price is hit ( with ease) , which i will be overjoyed if it does.
but at the moment that is looking a distant possibility.

I think the first raising caught many out of the blue , they wernt expecting it, expect the unexpected.
the profit warning caught people unawares, they werent expecting it. expect the unexpected.
just saying, think outside the box, of those possible permutations , you dont expect.

If youâre ânot trying to be negativeâ youâre making a very poor job of it.
Youâve been negative for quite some time. Talk of fund raising is ludicrous and scaremongering. Theyâve just had a fund raise ffs! And they have won a number of excellent contracts last year which will lead to growing revenues. The IR side needs some attention but the company is doing extremely well. That needs to be communicated, a relatively easy problem to sort.
Re the RNS , itâs a RNS reach, so only designed to inform and not be price sensitive. Iâm all for ENET informing, but this just looks like a reactive bit of news cobbled together.
They need to be proactive, nurturing investors, explaining the investment case, issuing brokers reports, doing regular updates, interviews, investor virtual open days etc. In short they need to have a credible IR policy. They think the odd bone chucked in our direction every now and then will suffice. It wonât, it needs much more effort than they are currently expending. Trouble is they see nothing wrong, well, as this is clearly reactive maybe the Penny is starting to drop and the current âpolicyâ will have to be reviewed.
the market focus now is on another cash raising. It will be a miracle if 60 - 80 p is hit.
this could be another âcyanâ ⌠they were the leader in their field, but there was raising after raising after raising. the share price was decimated, then one day the share price rored back to life.
not trying to be negative , just outlining that there are all sorts of eventualities.
It's a "nothing" RNS and if there was one of substance 5G would just dump into it.
Still holding but getting worn down. Praying for an very vexry unlikely buy out.
Well the volume has increased at least!
âFeel sorry for TL if he/she did indeed put in their order for a new yacht as the sp has gone the wrong way since those days, coinciding with the 35p placing. â
READ the name Tracy LIED.
5 g fund a seller , not difficult to predict falls. forget about rns s as evidenced today.
Sorry: "faith" rather than "safe": somewhat Freudian?
I suspect that the fall is due to what is not included in the Asian Update RNS (China), rather the content itself. Expectations remain high but the share price doesn't. Several months ago I suggested the share price needed one of two catalysts to start to deliver true value: inclusion on several lists of New Year recommendations to generate momentum (not much there sadly), but, more long term, distribution of dividends. It looks like the latter will be some time away, but each bit of good news re contracts, in theory, should be getting us closer. Agree with skid re long term patience being needed. Feel sorry for TL if he/she did indeed put in their order for a new yacht as the sp has gone the wrong way since those days, coinciding with the 35p placing. In hindsight, hopefully the current price will prove to be a bargain basement. Keep the safe IMHO but DYOR.
Bid.
To me it comes back to my point a few days ago about what the company sees as RNSable.
Although welcome in itself, clearly if this is RNSable they have nothing more tangible / concrete to communicate at this present time.
As a long termer like myself patience will hopefully be rewarded but time is slipping by qtr by qtr.
I thought this morning's news was good... but wtfdik!?
Had a feeling it might happen this morning , oh well people will hopefully grab a bargain at some point!
They can't win can they.. communicate with the market and people sell..
Exactly, they aren't obliged to announce that so good to see the comms. A big pat on the back for the salesperson in Asia!
Perhaps enet are listening to us Pis more ! Great stuff enet 2022 letâs gooo
Impressive progress ...
Ethernity Networks Grows Asian Relationships
Ethernity Networks (AIM: ENET.L), a leading supplier of data processing offload solutions on programmable FPGA (field programmable gate array) hardware for accelerating telco/cloud networks, today updates on the growth of its Asian business relationships, through both multiple new distribution arrangements and a collaboration with a Tier-1 Japanese OEM.
The Company has recently entered into new distribution arrangements for its FPGA systems-on-chip (SoCs) and system solutions with leading distribution and semiconductor trading companies covering the Taiwanese, South Korean, and Japanese markets. Ethernity believes these new arrangements will lead to new commercial engagements, primarily with OEMs in the Asian marketplace.
Leading on from these new relationships, the Company was pleased, at the end of 2021, to fulfill an order from a Tier-1 Japanese OEM for a number of Ethernity's ACE-NIC100 FPGA SmartNICs. The Company is now working with the OEM toward adapting the SmartNIC to work within the OEM's 5G virtualization environment.
David Levi, CEO of Ethernity, commented: "We are very excited with the new distribution arrangements which will allow us to expand our reach into the Asian Market. The order from the Tier-1 Japanese OEM is the first step towards what we hope will be a wider relationship with the OEM, leading to larger orders. It is a sign of confidence from the industry of the quality of products being offered by Ethernity."
Darn it, perhaps I should have stuck another 0 on yesterday's buy!
