Local management only holding local equity may encourage dysfunctional internal competition- games- arguments over use and costs incurred for shared services? - may be it would be better if some of the local equity was converted to group equity? - that could result in control issues though - tricky
Operating in 21 countries with a market capital of £32m - it’s kind of eccentric - they seem to value it strategically as geographic diversification - hope its manageable - local management teams holding minority equity positions in their areas makes sense - a pity the earnings growth is not expected to result in eps growth this year - hopefully this will improve over future years.
