Horrid.
I kept my shares. Infinity is trading at cash at 0.055. So
After crash downside is very limited?
I do think it remains a too big to fail of an asset and Canaveral deposit nearby is just not economic. Playing the appeal.
Awful development on INF.AX - decision will be appealed but ouch a 66% drop overnight
Malik and CRK22, thank you for sharing your feelings on Infinity. By the Grace of God, I narrowly avoided INF. At first, my thought was to diversify among all the lithium players in Europe but then decided -- almost randomly -- to concentrate my holdings in the opportunity (EMH) that I felt presented the greatest return. Oddly, my choice was more risky than hedging. If it's any consolation, I am confident that you will pick many more investment winners in the coming years that most of us (certainly me!). Your posts and positive attitude helped inspire me today. And who knows .... the INF story may not be over.
Am in the same boat Malik however I had at least removed my original capital from the investment. There must be a lot of political wrangling going on otherwise a statement would have been more quickly made.
I do think however its an important litmus test of the will to drive sufficient EU independent critical minerals supply.
We shall see and will be interesting to note what happens here as the INF.AX story plays out.
Discl. I am more heavily invested in EMH by six fold than INF
Sadly I did not avoid Infinity I own it - having taking the view that the resource was too big to fail/ and alternatives there not being economic - and the view that the people of Caceres (town in which the resource is) were actually warming up to the mine...
I dismissed the risk that political meddling could overrule a positive change of sentiment amongst citizens towards the project.
Cant touch the shares for a month now since the shares have been suspended since...
It’s infuriating.
I have also gained much additional knowledge and information on this blog. I have been locked-down in Ireland for many months and this blog is a great conduit to the outside world. May the good work continue.
Already retracted and apologised for mistake Sivad
sorry again
EMH is by far my largest holding (having spent no less than two months of DYOR to narrow my search to EMH about five months ago), and I want to say that I truly appreciate each of the contributors on this forum. I visit this forum every morning before starting my day, and it is great to see so many level-headed folks on here. I totally agree with Ant that there appears to be a sea of fools not understanding the fundamentals of EMH (could also be margin call selling), having you guys post the same things as I have learned independently boosts my confidence in EMH and allows me to stay the course. Malik/CRK22, sure glad that I avoided Infinity Lithium!!
I also read the Infinity issue is about the permit. Please confirm your source of Information.

Apologies Malik, you are correct, its project tenure rather than funding, no harm intended. Link below. I think its a mixed bag if tenure is not extended tbh, bullish for EMH in relation to reduced Li sources in an already large projected eu defecit but on the other side it would somewhat undermine the EU push for its own critical EV metals.
Certainly a massive question mark over INF at the moment that's for sure

Where did you see that regarding Infinity Lithium it’s about EU funding talks?
My understanding is that the regional government in Spain in which Infinity has the project, has rejected to grant it a key permit.
This is all the more positive for EMH... one less lithium resource in the EU, possibly.
We have the distinct advantage of having the Czech govt as 70% holder of Cez. The importance of which just can’t be understated for our project to indeed materialise.
Continuing to watch the EU thematic with interests. ASX listed stock INF (Infinity Lithium) has a project in spain and has voluntarily suspended trading on ASX pending an announcement following funding talks with EU (still ongoing).
Extension to trading suspension expires 19th May unless extended again so pretty crucial piece of news in relation to how positive EU are going to show themselves to be in driving the decarbonisation through vehicle electrification.
I would hope a positive funding announcement from INF next week may help a reversal of recent sp fortune here.
