Im not very clued up on shale but this sound like a lot. "with 429 metres of hydrocarbon bearing shales"
I have been watching EDR for a couple of months now and looks like alot of potential here. I am currently invested heavily in UJO so am aware of biscathorpe and Wressle, looks like an excellent entry point and come 5th November i would think the SP will considerably higher.
As a LTH... Me thinks the the last two ish weeks run up to 5th November hearing... It may creep up a penny or so from ere.... If people get good vibes from hearing 8-9p....and 11 or 12p ish on production.... And like RT has posted in previous posts we will just break even.... Only just... I still think there be another placing once up and running but happy to be proven wrong...
wow i see what you mean they have had 193 massages the good news we are tied up with them on a few projects. This site has really got quite but we hope if we get some good news all the old mob might start posting again
Although I have held shares in this company for the last 4years, this is the first time I’ve posted on here and like many of you are very disappointed on how these shares are performing. I look at UJO with admiration, particularly after their great news regards Hull oil find. Their chat forum is exciting with constant news flows. What’s going wrong with EDR, what are they not doing right compared to UJO? Please enlighten me guys and gals
well that is my last punt i have had today into EDR its do or die for me now. I hope after all this Brit exit stuff gets done and fracking my get some green lights this could fly but it can easy go the other way who knows ??????
I used to be a believer in this.... But after today at PNR.... This really isn't going happen, it never going be a great company.... At best the wessele get the go a head... And thats still all hangs on the fence STILL... Good luck to all long term holders like myself...
Councilor Mick Grant (Labour) is on record saying, apparently Egdon are costing small shareholders cash, actually it is the sheer incompetence of very poor quality councilors that have led single handildy to the demise of this company. Wressle has cost a fortune in professional fees and time delays. The planning laws for onshore O&G have been written by someone with the world experience of an extinction rebellion lo*nball. Natural gas is the far least of their worries but the UK is a soft target for them to get their moment of good feel factor. The minimum the government can do is give planning officers entire control over the very subject they studied at uni. If the councilors don't like the decision they can appeal, but if they lose all costs awarded including time delay to the applicant. A well conceived half-way house.
There was a story (drill or drop?)at the time that the Councillors changed their minds due to one influential Councillor having a beef with the EA about some planning he'd been refused. He trashed the EA and said that they couldn't be trusted on anything and so they rest of them used that as an excuse to turndown Egdon
I think they released this would look very bad if it was repeated in front of the Inspector at the enquiry...............
Hope your right.... But we will see... In my eyes this won't be up and running till around late February 2020 may be March or even early April... That's if we get the right decision... I save this posted.... I hope I'm wrong... I don't think egdon have really attacked this as well.... Been a bit layed back with it all.... The onshore E&P now is a different beast..... And this was on the horizon for a good while.... But we c... Good luck to u all any way
That people is the under statement.... This shouldn't be allowed again, and it will be if this isn't taken further by egdon(going for compo) .... This has been a delay tactic on a reckless scale and the council should be held accountable for the misuse of their powers.... Egdon could learn a lot from INEOS.... This still has to go to November I very much doubt if it get a early go ahead... This still isn't in the bag... But the odds r in egdon favour.... What a waste of egdon cash.... But that's what the Council wanted.... Wouldnt surprise me if there's ANOTHER PLACING.... on the back of a wessele approval... Like to be wrong but fear I may be right....
Complete agree fairview, some compensation is required for this crazy carry-on. I think this will get the go-ahead before November, the council will agree providing something insignificant is meet so they save some face. Council will not present evidence at a public inquiry into blocking Wressle's development. It will withdraw if acceptable planning conditions are agreed.
Egdon is a great company and with springs road & biscathorpe among others this is a strong buy.
You know what really stinks about this: North Lincolnshire Council knew all along that there was no justifiable reason for them turn down planning consent. In my opinion Egdon should have the legal right to sue the council for the delay and the financial damage it has done to the company. Those self-important non-entities down at the council love to wield a bit of power and their terrible decisions seem to go unpunished. I don't even understand why this still has to go to a planning inquiry.
