What do you mean

Yes I agree and do exactly the same. I think there is a difference between adding because you believe, and adding purely because you are down. All imo pdyor
Likewise to you and yours!
Aerial , I do that with all my purchases ! If I still believe in the reasons for buying are still valid , then I will A D.
Good weekend to you and yours.

Averaging down is common place on AIM, and in most cases is just another way of saying you are chasing a loss. It would have been nice to be in profit by now, but it is what it is, and consequently it has given me the opportunity to increase my holding for a fraction (relatively speaking) of my original investment. Not for everybody, and imo should never be recommended, but good luck with whatever you decide !!
All imo pdyor
my average is 0.0164 and in the red deeply.
Just trying to workout how many shares I need to buy to get this down to respectable levels
seanyj1 thanks
I've just done the maths, and over the last year or so I have increased my holding fivefold. I don't intend to add further, but drops are difficult to ignore while trying to stay in touch. Hopefully Jeffrey Malaihollo's 'Belief' will come to fruition!
All imo pdyor
Well done mate.
I am hoping to top up at some point. Just trying to get the xmas shopping out the way first lol
Up on today's mil, not in profit :(.... lol
seanyj1
Well I'm in profit on today's million!! lol
0.196879 will put my even, that's if you disregard the 8/9 years in the red...
Does this put you in profit Aerial
