For me it's always been about the RCPP, and the $455m Interconnector is on its way. Kibo have had their invite (all below). Also very recent news/movement with the addition of the $100m AFD concessional loan. All there for those wishing to read.
I think the bods words were something to the effect of: : "Edenville are strategicly placed at the end of the Interconnector in Sumbawanga"

Kibo Energy PLC, the multi-asset, Africa focused energy company, is pleased to announce that it has received formal notice from the Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited ('TANESCO') inviting it to develop the Mbeya Coal to Power Project (the 'MCPP' or the 'Project') for the export market and thereby enabling the Company to engage with the African Power Pools regarding off-take agreements..

"According to the French Development Agency (AFD), the Kenya-Tanzania connection is currently under construction, making the connection between Tanzania and Zambia the last link towards the interconnection between the East African Power Pool and the Southern African Power Pool"

Recent 400 kV Transmission Interconnector news 29/06/2020
"The French financial institution is also supporting the electricity interconnection between Tanzania and Zambia through a 100 million euro concessional loan. The French financial institution also supports the electricity interconnection between Tanzania and Zambia through a 100 million euro concessional loan. AFD thus joins the World Bank and the European Union which are financing this project. The project will enable the construction of a 400 kV transmission line and substations from Iringa to Sumbawanga via Mbeya and Tunduma and the Tunduma interconnection line in Tanzania’s Songwe region to the border with Zambia. The objective of this power interconnection project is to ensure security of electricity supply to the countries in the East African sub-region and the pooling of energy resources in the region.

Very nice imho
Aerial yes it could be an exit plan. I just cant see Edl making a great deal of cash getting commission on sales if it was us selling 10k tons plus a month it would be happy days.
The only way this would be a great money maker would be if the mine feeds a power plant then a small commission on millions of tons would be a very lucrative deal for us.
It's just my thinking on the whole your thoughts?

I wonder if AM was the lone architect of the ILTL deal?, as it definitely feels like a deal done by someone with his credentials, rather than those of RS. Never forgetting the rarely mentioned Jeff Malaihollo...
It looks on the face of it like a good plan, and I still have this nagging feeling that this is the start of an exit strategy..
All imo pdyor
Question on the upfront payment how many tons were purchased? Would be nice to be told.
MrNation
With respect, only a new investor could be impressed with the coms :)
I agree about the upfront payment. There is much that has been achieved, but little credit will be given because as you have noted most will only talk this down !!

I love you enthusiasm!
Id like to see them engaging with investors more. After all, Rukwa is live and has a pending list of orders. Whats not to like. I cannot wait for numbers! Also expect an update next week.
