All I'm saying is don't get carried away until they RNS that it has actually happened. All this jam tomorrow insinuation is just an extension of Rufus's time at the helm.
JohnZ
There was never a choice, things will proceed and we will find in due course. Hopefully with two potential investors the odds of a favourable outcome should be slightly better.
Saus - I still say let AM have a chance and see what happens with any share issue.
His first RNS did have something which was never in any of RS's, actual details such as names of who the new contracts were for.
Insinuating, that's the whole jam tomorrow RNS thing. Rufus has insinuated a lot and delivered very little shareholder value. The price hit 0.02p under Rufus.
Alistair has been been literally left a crock of ****
by Rufus down to the last £90k.
The way I see it, Alistair may have spoken to two interested parties, talked figures, these parties may have contacted their finance people, or Alistair may have spoken to two drunk mates in the pub who said yeah we'll chuck in £100 . Both of which Edenville would report / insinuate they are talking to interested parties.
How serious are these interested parties? How far into negotiations are they? I've said it before, Alistair needs to get a grip of Edenville and it's finance. He cannot let Edenville spend 100s of thousands of ££s on admin.
Sausage I sort of get your point . But in my eyes if they only managed 800 (which is over 2 months ) then it would have surely been worded up to 800 . But the wording up to 4000 tons is surely insinuating that they have reached that figure at least once .
UP TO 4000,
so any figure between 0 and 4000 is still valid, so 800 is up to 4000

But what was the price on the 6th September? If the price was 0.06p, then it's still a discount.
I say again, I have never seen an Edenville share issue at a premium.
I don't quite understand the productivity figures in the end of November rns . It states roughly 800 tons of wash coal produced over 2 months . But on the edenville web site it states "currently producing up to 4000 tons of saleable coal a month " ! Is it That they just havnt corrected the homepage ?
Pi - Saus - 600,000,000 new ordinary shares of 0.02p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 0.05p per Ordinary Share
This is from the RNS 6th September 2019 so if we can do it again, with what monies EDL has, this may be sufficient to reach the break even point.
The last thing I would want is the directors stuffing their own pockets with more discounted shares.
If anything I would expect any member of EDL management who has not taken their salary to put it down to bad management and leave it at that.
pi
I get your point, but a large enough Investor or an Investor at company level is not really the same as a Placing. Subject to the terms, the announcement of an Investor or two should be good for the company and the SP considering the current predicament and other likely outcomes..
All imo pdyor
John they are going to need 4-5 months cash till break even how much is that going to be?
Sausage - thee last share issue was priced at 0.05p and now the SP is 0.0425p so I would hope the new share issue will be the same at 0.05p.
Sausage - the last 18month extension was announced on 25th June 2018, so I suspect we will get something w/c 23rd Dec. The RNS of 25 June 2018 is an interesting read, as there are a number of things that were apparently going on in the background as part of the extended MoU. We've heard nothing on those as yet.
The burn rate is incredible so such a small company, admin costs are burning a hole in the accounts.
Alistair needs to get a grip of the finances, now!!!
Less than 2 weeks before Sinohydro deal ends?
Surely Alistair should know what is going on? Have they walked away? Or another agreement in place?
aerial / Sausage - averaging down is a very dangerous game and although I have done it on a number of shares over the years, including Edenville, I know plenty of investors who have subsequently lost fortunes. I have to say that not at any other time in the last two and a bit years since we became a producer have I actually felt like we are really struggling financially. My own views on our P&L state of affairs are well versed on here. GW
I have thought that many times. Sat about putting a few grand in to lower the ol' average.
I've never had faith in Rufus to spend anymore money on him. I like the style of RNSs from Alistair in that he names the contract companies.
I don't believe the placing will be at a premium, I think it will be around 0.02p at that point I'll look to invest further.
Now contracts in place, northern coal field open, new man in charge, just need to get next dilution out of the way.
Sausage
I would like nothing more than to see everyone make some money here, especially the long suffering like you that I think have been here longer than me. If your original holding and average is unchanged, do you not think (under the current circumstances) that it's worth looking at slashing that average for peanuts compared to your original investment? Not advice, just a thought!
All imo pdyor
...the price so the dilution that may happen next week. If Alistair can get a premium on the current price then this will fly, if it's a massive Rufus mates rates deal at 0.02p then the share price only going one way.
